Yet another King Charles impersonator
Playing the part: The actor playing King Charles is called Dana Carvey. With Mike Myers in Wayne's World in 1992:

Another impersonator – and more cake!
I like to see royal lookalikes, and I like royal cake pictures. They come together in this image with the impressive setting. I wonder whether the cake is real!

Republic UK's future plans
Republic UK will be doing some leafleting in a few more big towns in December. They have some big protests, rallies and meetings planned for 2024, starting in March. Maybe they won't need to try too hard as the royals may have imploded by then. This probably applies mainly to the younger generations:

Republic UK: raising funds for 2024
We gave some examples of income sources for Republic UK earlier. They also raise money by soliciting donations on their website, and they have crowdfunding campaigns: “On 30th June 2023 we successfully raised £95,944 with 2759 supporters in 281 days.” They are currently trying to raise £30,000 for next year's activities. They have made close to £12,000 so far. “New campaigns will include: Digital advertising, including on Google, Facebook and Twitter. Events up and down the country, led by local people Turbo-charged social media, including Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and TikTok Demands for fair coverage from the BBC Lobbying of politicians, calling on them to engage with this issue A direct challenge to Charles on his claim to the throne and accusations of law breaking” www.crowdfunder.co.uk/p/notmyking'Not My King' is not a bad slogan. Protesting in London on Coronation Day:

Well, it is now confirmed he has cancer.I find it very interesting timing. Which leads to the question... are we about to have another funeral to observe?
I wonder what is going on...

The slimmed-down monarchy
“It makes me wonder if she could be a possible candidate for an expected replacement for Charles.” Princess Anne may indeed have to take on even more work now. In addition to King Charles and Kate being out of action, Prince Edward is taking a break from public duties. He has not been looking too well recently. Sarah Ferguson has been in the headlines with new health problems too. Interesting timing indeed. Who knows what is really going on. Will the monarchy survive all this? What will be done about Princes Harry and Andrew now? Decisions, decisions...

Republic UK in 2024
“That is not very much money to create a big campaign.“ The donated amount has now reached £16,627 - out of the hoped-for £30k. They are still doing some leafleting. Their next protest will be outside Westminster Abbey on March 11, Commonwealth Day. I wonder which royals will be there!

Princess Anne in a cake picture
“I wonder if Anne will end up as Queen at this point.“ Princess Anne is way down in the line of succession. But stranger things have happened... She visited a London pony centre yesterday, where she cut a cake and made a joke: “In a light-hearted manner, she then instructed the volunteers to consume it all. 'You will eat it, if I cut it. Otherwise it's just legalised vandalism. So, enjoy the cake!'” www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-13060931/Princess-Anne-umbrella-cake-Wormwood-Scrubs-Pony-Centre.html

“I could end up as king through some weird development!”
There are some posts in the old 'who will be the next British monarch after Elizabeth II' thread about some unlikely people who became monarch because no one else was left.
You are in with a chance! Stranger things...
The monarchy does seem to be disintegrating. As for Prince Harry, who knows what really happened during his recent visit.

Republic UK and the royal secrets
Republic UK has started a new appeal for funds. They want £30,000 for their campaign to end royal secrets. They want access to wills and official documents and for the Freedom of Information Act to cover the royals. They have raised £1,495 so far. Prince Andrew is mentioned, and so are royal finances. The royals may have asked for exemption from many laws; they may gave lobbied ministers about their personal causes and on behalf of dodgy Middle Eastern and other 'friends'. I wonder whether the vague details of King Charles's cancer and Kate's surgery have inspired the start of this campaign. The wolves and vultures are closing in...

Well, I have the odds against me, due to Catholicism. It would disbar me, but if I were to formally adopt Anglicism, then that likely would change things. That said, the restriction could be gone before any such event arise. As a small jest, I could become the High Ruler of Kent or something... as a practice for the Big Job. Harry us quite the wild card, isn't he?

I thought that you were of the Wiccan persuasion!
Anyway, it seems very likely that Prince William will have to take on more responsibilities – and not just temporarily.
As for Prince Harry, as he is indeed a wild card who knows what he will do next? I wonder whether he has permanently burned his bridges with his family.

To quote Tony Stark: " Not a great plan." The moment you start forcing wills to become public in this manner, it sets a precedent. Any public figures could then be targeted, for transparency purposes. And you can imagine the Government loving this idea, because it can then make sure all inheritance taxes are paid... This has some nasty unintended consequences to it.

As for Prince Harry, as he is indeed a wild card who knows what he will do next? I wonder whether he has permanently burned his bridges with his family. That is absolutely correct - I am Wiccan. Weirdly, that should not be an issue, since the Queen became a druid before she ascended the throne. An interesting precedent. However, I was born into a Catholic family. So, I grew up Catholic. So, that would be the big stumbling block, ironically. The remedy would be to publicly become Anglican, to satisfy the legal requirements. Of course, there is no blood link, so it would mean there would need to be a whole new dynasty created that is not from anything from the past. Maybe I should just stick to wanting to rule Kent! You might be right about William. I do have to wonder if there is some plan to this, and the cancer is a smokescreen. To he clear, I wish no ill on them, but they are hardly the most trustworthy of folk. The big thing to remember about Harry... he is possibly going to fulfil a Nostradamus prophecy. So he could be a twist in this rather Shakespearian tale.

Republic UK protest at Windsor Castle
“The moment you start forcing wills to become public in this manner, it sets a precedent.” True, but some people are determined to discover what the royals have been hiding all these years. Republic UK has raised £2,620 for their campaign so far. They have spent some of it already: two days ago, they staged a protest inside the grounds of Windsor Castle, calling for an end to “royal secrecy”. The royal archives are hidden in the Round Tower:

Has Prince Harry gone too far?
“The big thing to remember about Harry... he is possibly going to fulfil a Nostradamus prophecy.” Is this the cryptic prediction that some people interpret as meaning that King Charles will abdicate and Prince Harry rather than William will succeed him? People of the present time are prophesying that he will be recalled to perform public duties because of the current shortage of senior royals; others believe that he has gone for good. His book may have been the deal breaker for his family:

Spare us a second book!
Prince Harry is reported to be working on a second autobiographical book. So far this is just speculation and rumours, but it does seem possible. He did say that there was a lot of material left over from the original book, and there have been many developments since Spare was published. Many people feel like this:

£3,075 has been raised for the campaign to end royal secrecy. Some of it is being spent on promotional material. I like the masks under the crowns:

Another one bites the dust
Queen Camilla is exhausted and is taking a short break. Prince Edward and Princess Anne will take on some extra engagements. What happens if they too get ill or overloaded? Why isn't Prince William doing more? When will we see these two out and about together again?

Royal photoshopping is in the headlines at last
Posts in the old, censored, Epstein thread pointed out that allegations and conspiracy theories often start on obscure websites, gradually filter through various sites and eventually appear in comments on MSM articles. They may even finally make the MSM headlines when the dam bursts. We had a lot of fun on the old Conservative Conspiracy Forum analysing photoshopped pics of the royals; this was continued in the Something Isn't Right thread on here for a while. Now. most of the headlines mention the picture that our future Queen admits photoshopping. The Daily Mail has kindly listed the anomalies. They have some huge expanded pictures of some of them: www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13182189/Kate-Middleton-Mothers-Day-photo-problems-picture.html

Anti-monarchist demonstrators came to central London yesterday to protest outside Westmnster Abbey. where the Commonwealth Day service was being held. #NotMyKing was good; now they have something even better:
