What will happen now?
“Not wishing ill, but he might not be on the throne for long.” I was thinking much the same. He does not seem too well; he looks rather faded. Presumably the crown would still pass to Prince William. The monarchy might not be torn down as such, but slowly fade away. I didn't buy any of the new coins – or any coronation merchandise either. If we are looking at things as they are now, then that is a distinct possibility. However, the whole political system is a mess. There is a clear concentration of power towards the House of Commons, which is not healthy at all. So the Monarch needs to have some historical powers restored, so that position is a far better check and balance. As weird as it sounds... don't count Harry out just yet. Especially if he divorces Meghan... I have the cupronickel crown and fifty pence piece, along with a number of circulation coins. I managed to hit a place that has them, so have been getting them in my change. As for silver, I have five Britannias that are 2022 Elizabeth II heads, five 2023 Elizabeth II heads, and five 2023 Charles III heads. Essentially creating five sets for the transition years, if that makes sense.

Sausages again!
The sausage saga started with the story that Prince Harry resented it when Prince William got more sausages with his breakfast than he did. This cartoon has yet another royal and sausage connection:

Kaya Mar gets on the coronation case
Political artist Kaya Mar, whose works have been featured in a few threads, likes to take his pictures out to key locations in central London. He displayed this daring one, which makes me think of Danny Kaye's song The King is in the All Together, in The Mall a few days ago:

This cartoon has yet another royal and sausage connection: From Wikipedia: Sausages in one form or another have been around since Akkadian times, it seems. And isn't "hot dog" a code word used in trafficking circles for boys? I say that, because hot dog is a type of sausage...

So what happens now?
“It might hit the point where he is replaced soon, simply through his age. Not wishing ill, but he might not be on the throne for long. It makes you wonder if they are already making preparations for the next transition.“ This new slimmed-down monarchy means more public engagements for the survivors of the purge. It will be difficult for Charles and Camilla to meet the demands made on them. The two of them will be living even more in a goldfish bowl! She doesn't look too well either, and may not be up to all those overseas tours. Could this lead to the return of Prince Andrew, or even a deal with Prince Harry? The preparations for dealing with the departure of King Charles are codenamed Operation Menai Bridge:

Globus Cruciger
The code name for the security strategy for the coronation was Operation Golden Orb. The Orb and cross that King Charles held has many symbolic meanings, including the Christian world and a sign that he is Defender of the Faith.

Slimmed-down monarchy
As I understand it, Charles has been planning for a while to reduce the number of people who are official working members of the royal family. Prince Andrew's two girls for example are not on the list of royals who take on public duties on behalf of the monarch, nor are Princess Anne's offspring. There are only around eleven people left in the working pool, and seven of them are over the age of seventy. That is why I thought that Princes Andrew and Harry might be reinstated. Princess Anne has said that she does not think it is a good idea; "I think that 'slimmed down' was said in a day when there were a few more people to make that seem like a justifiable comment," Anne said. "I mean, it doesn't sound like a good idea from where I'm standing, I have to say. I'm not quite sure what else we can do."

You beed to remember that both Charles and William are full supporters of the World Economic Forum, so will be behind whatever agenda that group has. It could be that they are trying to wind down and dismantle the British Monarchy. Aneed has made some interesting comments, which suggests that she is not really on board with things. It makes me wonder if she could be a possible candidate for an expected replacement for Charles.

Why Transylvania?
King Charles has made a strange choice for his first foreign trip since the coronation: he is going to Transylvania for a short walking holiday in June. Camilla is not going with him. He owns property in Romania and has made many visits to the country. Maybe he goes there to recharge.

That connection could be from the German side. I know that there is a Tidor link that way, because the daughters of Henry VII married into German royalty and nobility. So something might have happened in those lines as well.

Another vampire connection
Awarding a knighthood to Christopher Lee: Christopher Lee was related to General Robert E. Lee, who fought in the American Civil War, and was a direct descendant to Charlemagne, the first Holy Roman Emperor. Didn't Christopher Lee have an occult book collection?

The vampire and the monarch
There is some information about the sinister Christopher Lee in the Living into their nineties thread in the General Discussion board. There is a video there where he talks about magick, the occult and the Left Hand Path. As for the occult library: “...many people are convinced that Christopher Lee is an enormous fan of the occult. Rumors go so far as to claim that he owns the largest collection of occult literature in the entire world, with anywhere from 2,000 to 20,000 occult books in his library. Asked about this in an interview, he was very clear that the stories were not at all true. He first joked that to even have that many books he would need to “live in the bath”...“ listverse.com/2014/12/14/10-reasons-christopher-lee-is-truly-amazing/He had many royal encounters:

Dancing in Romania in 2017
The then Prince Charles had a good time in 2017 when he made one of his many visits to Romania: He certainly is interested in Romania. Makes you a little suspicious as to why.

Christopher Lee and the King of the Franks
Christopher Lee is a direct descendant of the Frankish King Charlemagne, who was also the first Holy Roman Emperor. He released a Heavy Metal album inspired by his ancestor in 2010. I think that he looks more regal than King Charles III here:

It is more a case of symphonic rock, and it is telling the tale of his conquests. I remember thinking at the time that it was a rather balanced view of Charlemagne, neither overly positive or negative. And yes, he definitely looked regal in the artwork. I think he did a second album, and had done music collaborations with Rhaspody Of Fire, if memory serves.

Christopher Lee as Prince Philip in the TV movie Charles & Diana: A Royal Love Story (1982): Given the grim truth of Philip, it makes him performing that role rather interesting.
