Only a handful of hecklers at the Abbey
A few Republic demonstrators protested outside Westminster Abbey yesterday. King Charles didn't seem too bothered:

Big Republic demonstrations on May 6th
Republic UK are planning country-wide protests on coronation day. They will hold their main demonstration near Westminster Abbey in Parliament Square. I wonder how many pledges they have received so far. I also wonder how many of them will turn out on the day.

A prophecy about King Charles
'Kyrios the Earth Healer' has made a whole string of prophecies about various people, places and events. Some of the most relevant ones are being posted on here. Here is what he has to say about our monarch:

The coronation invitation has a Green Man
Around 2,000 people will be getting an invitation to attend the coronation in person. Pictures of the invitation card have been released. The design includes some items that have been featured in posts, including a bee, a blue boar and a Green Man. The card is pretty, but doesn't seem very suitable for the occasion:

The Joker is coming over to seize the throne
At least, in a comic strip! He looks rather like Richard III in the picture, where he is saying "God Save the King, Dearies" and, "Forget constituents...now I've got subjects. I'm the undisputed ruler of Great Britain."

The storm clouds are gathering
Allegations of links with the slave trade in the past and small but vocal groups of NotMyKingers are some of King Charles's current problems. Will the pressure increase as the coronation comes ever closer? We shall see! He was greeted by demonstrators outside York Minster yesterday:

The Con-a-nation!
This is what some anti-monarchists are calling the impending ceremony. They might be right! Perhaps Charles and Camilla will use lookalikes in the ceremony and watch it all from home while scoffing burgers:

Coronation biscuit tin
Biscuit manufacturers McVitie have produced a limited-edition biscuit tin. I think it is one of the better items of coronation memorabilia. I like the biscuits in the design, especially as the lion is eating one:

No British monarchy on Australian banknotes
King Charles will not be replacing Queen Elizabeth on some Australian banknotes. This cartoon on the subject is by Bart van Leeuwen:

Pictures like this are amusing, but they do diminish the mystique of the monarchy:

God save the sausages!
Quiche seems rather dull as an official coronation signature dish. King Charles could have promoted these topical treats:

The then Cornwalls starred in the Beano
In 2013 Prince Charles and Camilla visited the head office of the publisher of the Beano. A special edition was created to mark the occasion, with both of them featured visiting Bash St. School:

The Windsors: better than life?
The special coronation episode of The Windsors may be better than the real thing, with more royals on the balcony:

Some pictures of King Charles will not make the beholders feel very reverent. The old music hall song comes to mind here:

That's all folks!
It's all over now, with no major disasters. King Charles seemed old, tired and rather miserable to me. He was probably happy when it was all over:

Republic UK and the coronation
They were protesting in various places, but didn't cause any major disturbances. This is an amusing variation on the usual NotMyKing slogan:

It's all over now, with no major disasters. King Charles seemed old, tired and rather miserable to me. He was probably happy when it was all over: It might hit the point where he is replaced soon, simply through his age. Not wishing ill, but he might not be on the throne for long. It makes you wonder if they are already making preparations for the next transition. Also, durng the funeral, he seemed to have problems walking in his boots in the procession, if I remember corectly. I've managed to get some of the circulation 50p pieces that announce his ascension to the throne. Not sure if you have any of them yet.

How long until the end of the monarchy? Avacyn has called Meghan a wrecking ball; he said a while back that he suspects she was sent to destroy the Royals. Whether it was deliberate or not and whether the Sussexes' allegations are true or not, it does seem this way. She is doing a great job on behalf of Republic UK. The slogan is interesting, as they don't seem to realise the significance of 1066. They seem to be suggesting that the Normans should have established a Republic...
This is a problem I have noticed with people who want to tear down an existing system, and replace it... they invariably don't have a clue as to what can replace what they are removing, thus they make things worse.

What will happen now?
“Not wishing ill, but he might not be on the throne for long.” I was thinking much the same. He does not seem too well; he looks rather faded. Presumably the crown would still pass to Prince William. The monarchy might not be torn down as such, but slowly fade away. I didn't buy any of the new coins – or any coronation merchandise either.
