There is a deep sadness in her eyes.“ Lavendel you have reminded me of the old forum and the early days of this one when the Cambridges and the Middletons were a top topic. There were many posts about Party Pieces – and Boomf! They have been neglected recently in favour of Brexit, the Sussexes and a few other things. I remember how unhappy and sometimes bitter Kate used to look. I thought that she had since become resigned to her position. Perhaps the departure of the Sussexes has put a big load on the Cambridges. The disgrace of Prince Andrew has meant one fewer senior royal for public engagements too. She could be looking unhappy recently because England lost! “I will keep a close eye as things unfold but very discreetly“ You may need a very big bag of popcorn! |

Boomf! goes bang
Lavendel noticed a pattern in both the Sussex and Cambridge families: the brother of someone who married a prince appeared to be paying the price. While Thomas Markle Jr. is now doing quite well, James Middleton is not so lucky. There are many posts in other threads about his company Boomf!, with some speculation about backers and loans. The company has been in trouble in the past but has always managed to survive. Now their time is up: “The Daily Mail can disclose that James Middleton’s marshmallow firm, Boomf, is due to go into administration. The company, which Mr Middleton, 34, set up in 2013 to sell personalised marshmallows, has asked the courts to appoint administrators. The young Prince George of Cambridge was at Centre Court today to watch the Wimbledon Gentlemen's Singles Final contested by arch-refusenik Novak Djoković and Australian badboy Nick Kyrgios. The cameras caught some interesting hand gestures from the young Prince in the Royal Box.
The duke and duchess were both in attendance and greeted the victorious Serb after he prevailed in four sets over the gutsy Kyrgios. Kate wore a navy polka dot dress designed by Alessandra Rich for the conclusion of Britain's annual showpiece tennis tournament.
