Mark Gatiss, George III and George IV
Mark Gatiss has played the parts of George III and George IV on stage. He is unrecognisable as George IV because of all the added fat, but the bad taste when it came to furnishings and buildings is familiar:

Mark Gatiss, Charles I and Oliver Cromwell
As previously mentioned, Earl Spencer wrote a book about Charles I and Oliver Cromwell. He supported Oliver Cromwell in a debate. Mark Gatiss read the book and shares his republican views. He played Charles I on stage. “I’m currently reading... Killers Of The King by Charles Spencer. It’s a brilliant book about the fate of the men who signed Charles I’s death warrant, really well written and fascinating.” www.express.co.uk/life-style/life/596790/Sherlock-Doctor-Who-actor-Mark-Gatiss-interview-summer-2015“…the part is tailor-made for the writer-actor, who is fascinated by the period covering Charles’s beheading in 1649, and the ensuing years when England was governed without a monarchy. I’ve always wanted to play Charles I because he’s a mass of contradictions and that intrigued me,” he said. Yet Gatiss is no royalist and described Charles I as ‘slippery’. ‘ I’m a republican. I’m very proud of our country having the first revolution. Oliver Cromwell wanted to bring in decimalisation in the 1650s — instead it took until 1970. It’s the most remarkable thing, we threw it all away and went back to the monarchy.’” www.hampsteadtheatre.com/news/2012/10/the-sunday-times-mark-gatiss-interview/

Victoria and Albert’s ears
Photographs indicate that they both had the more common detached earlobes: Thats good news at least the great parents had detached ears. I wonder when the attached ear entered the genes of the royal family

Yes, these two were the first to be photographed, so we can be sure of a good likeness. I too wonder when it started - and what it means.
I wish some of them wouldn't hide their ears with beards and earrings!

Wolfram, green robes, a green jewel and the Holy Grail Lavendel maybe you can see some connections here. You mentioned that tungsten, allegedly the nickname for Meghan, is wolfram in German. You also noticed a lot of green dresses. The Holy Grail has been mentioned recently too. Parzifal is considered to be the greatest work of the great mediaeval German poet Wolfram von Eschenbach. He tells a story from the Arthurian legends: the quest for the Holy Grail. There is a king with green robe (a green mantle) in it, and some of the maidens around the Grail wear green robes. In his version of the legend, the Holy Grail is not a cup nor a bloodline but a green stone, possibly an emerald, that fell from the crown of Lucifer. Then we have today’s emerald tiara.

UnseenI there are alot of connections definitely. This Autumn green has been the dress , the earing and tiara colors. The queen and king of Netherlands was doing a four day tour of Germany and green earings, dress, shoes was her look. There is no way it’s coincidence princess anne, her daughter inlaw autumn, fergie wore green dress and shoes and Camila too. I am following closely what’s going on. They are definitely communicating something through the green colors. ————- I think too there is a connection it could be 2018 is the year of lucifer. The green colors dresses began way before at meghans engagement ; since then spring was green and now Autumn. The Eugenie tiara confirms its not a coincidence. There is a connection to new camelot ; the irish visit of meghan; pope etc. So I could imagine Ireland has become very important and is playing a major magical role in all these as its green state and brexit battle ground. Lucifers stone is harry potters sorcerer Stone. I am investing the connection to all this. I recently watched a german tv documentary on holy grail and they found the source of the parzival stone. The stone was part of a kelch or golden cup which had green stones on it. I will write more on this soon am on the trail of an interesting connection which may answer the green year!

There is certainly a web of connections, some royal, here. As mentioned on the other thread, Ireland is known as the Emerald Isle. We also have the Emerald Tablet of Thoth, with “As Above , So Below” engraved on it. That saying is associated with the pointing upwards and downwards that you noticed. Mercury/Hermes is said to be the equivalent of the Egyptian Thoth. He is often depicted wearing a winged hat. Fergie’s emerald green hat from yesterday had ‘wings’:

UnseenI you brought me into the answer with the emerald and ireland! There is a ireland referendum pending . A vote could determine future of brexit. That means the politicians wives, royals, and celebrities are donning green to show support for Ireland in this referendum and green means hidden support for remain . I was looking at fergie and Robbie Williams wife are in green tonight too. So they are hidden in sight voting for a referendum and thus remain in eu. We didnt see this coming did we. So i need to get my green dress out? ireland flag colours : orange white green. I dont know if its a connection or coincidence.

The Emerald Tablet of Thoth again
This contains some wording of which the meaning is obscure. Here is an extract: “That which is below is like that which is above & that which is above is like that which is below to do the miracles of one only thing And as all things have been & arose from one by the meditation of one: so all things have their birth from this one thing by adaptation. The Sun is its father, the moon its mother, the wind hath carried it in its belly, the earth is its nurse. The father of all perfection in the whole world is here. Its force or power is entire if it be converted into earth. Separate thou the earth from the fire, the subtle from the gross sweetly with great industry. It ascends from the earth to the heaven & again it descends to the earth & receives the force of things superior & inferior. By this means you shall have the glory of the whole world & thereby all obscurity shall fly from you.”en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emerald_TabletThis reminds me of transformer’s royal riddles!

The TV series Dark and the Emerald Tablet of Thoth Dark is a Netflix German language time-travel TV series with a large occult element. “In the television series Dark, the mysterious priest Noah has a large image of the Emerald Tablet tattooed on his back. The image also appears on a metal door in the caves that are central to the plot. Several characters are shown looking at copies of the text. In addition, the sixth episode of the series is named after a line from the Latin version, "Sic mundus creatus est.” en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emerald_Tablet

Now I am not so sure. Earrings can pull the lobes down so they look detached, so perhaps that first picture is misleading.

Parzifal , Parsifal and Ludwig II the Grail King
We have posted a lot of interesting information about Ludwig II of Bavaria. The Holy Grail has been mentioned a few times now. Here are some new connections: Parsifal is an opera by the German composer Richard Wagner. It is loosely based on Parzival by Wolfram von Eschenbach, a 13th-century epic poem of the Arthurian knight Parzival (Percival) and his quest for the Holy Grail. Wagner’s patron was Ludwig II. Without the king’s support, Parsifal might never have been written. We have seen that Ludwig II thought that he was a direct descendant of the French Louis XIV ; he also believed himself to be Parsifal: "Ludwig II increasingly identified himself with Parzival, the legendary medieval figure who became Grail King through his purity and faith and thereby redeemed his sin laden uncle. The inner battle for freedom from sin and purity is distressingly evident in the diaries of the extremely pious king. This particular legend is the subject of Richard Wagner's last work "Parsifal", which he began in 1877. Wagner and his circle privately referred to the king as "Parsifal", and his problems were incorporated into the drama of the Grail. Neuschwanstein, originally a monument to the minnesingers of medieval times, was reinterpreted as the Castle of the Holy Grail and the Throne Room was redesigned as the Hall of the Holy Grail – dedicated to the mystery of salvation for the world.” www.neuschwanstein.de/englisch/ludwig/biography.htm

Two lakes
A lake features in the death of Ludwig II: his body was found floating in Lake Starnberg. A lake is featured in the Arthurian legends: the Lady of the Lake gives and takes back Excalibur, the sword of King Arthur, from under the water. There are some similarities in the memorial cross for King Ludwig and a typical depiction of the sword:

I did read that at the see he never died. He was rescued by his supporters who took him to another hideout.

Build a castle for Mad King Ludwig
Castles have inspired many posts in the Sussex thread. Windsor Castle, Ed Sheeran’s song Castle on the Hill and the episode of the TV series Castle in which Meghan Markle plays a murderess who dresses up as the Sleeping Beauty in a lavender-coloured dress are just some examples. Ludwig II is famous for building castles, and this has inspired a board game from Green Knight Games: “In the tile-laying game Castles of Mad King Ludwig, players are tasked with building an amazing, extravagant castle for King Ludwig II of Bavaria...one room at a time. You see, the King loves castles, having built Neuschwanstein (the castle that inspired the Disney theme park castles) and others, but now he's commissioned you to build the biggest, best castle ever — subject, of course, to his ever-changing whims. Each player acts as a building contractor who is adding rooms to the castle he's building while also selling his services to other players.” www.greenknightgames.co.uk/products/Castles-of-Mad-King-Ludwig.htmlNote that King Ludwig’s most famous castle inspired Disney’s Sleeping Beauty’s Castle. The Green Knight is a character in the Arthurian legends! These connections are tenuous but uncanny.

I read that king Ludwig royal line is called “Schwan “in germany . More like a white duck in English. The Castle new Schwan Stone. So i guess the stone or stein in castle name is in reference to philosophers Stone in Harry potter or Camelot legends. There is group of knights known as the “Schwanritter / “similar to knights of King Arthur camelot legends. The schwanritter must have been guards of the schwanStein .

Cornwall and two civil wars
Cornwall was a royalist enclave during the civil war that started in 1642. Not only was there a strong connection between Cornwall and the royal family, but their sense of independence, culture and identity was threatened by Parliament. There were a few battles in which Royalist troops defeated the Parliamentarians. Prince Charles, later Charles II, spent some time there. Now we have another civil war. The areas that supported the royalist cause are much the same as those that voted to Leave the EU. Cornwall voted to Leave. One reason is that the Cornish fishermen and farmers were frustrated by all the EU regulations and wanted to take back control. However, leaving would mean a loss of EU funding in other areas. Perhaps some Cornish people are having second thoughts. There was a huge march of Remain supporters in London yesterday. I went out to see them for myself. I saw some black and white Cornish flags among all the EU blue and gold ones.

Sherlock Holmes goes to Cornwall
Cornwall is being mentioned a lot on here these days - thanks to Camilla, whose primary title is Duchess of Cornwall. As with many topics, there is a Sherlock Holmes connection. In the short story The Adventure of the Devil’s Foot, Sherlock Holmes goes to Cornwall for a rest cure. He and Watson rent a small cottage near Poldhu, which is a real location in the far west of Cornwall. The story contains some background information about Cornwall, and Conan Doyle gets it right. The descriptions of the scenery are very good, and one character is called Tregennis, a typical Cornish name. There is a good reason for this: Conan Doyle himself took a rest cure in Poldhu in 1910 and probably did a lot of research into Cornish matters while he was there. It took a few months to write the story. The date on the postcard he sent from Poldhu to Bram (Dracula) Stoker is March 1910; The Adventure of the Devil’s Foot first appeared in print in December 1910.

Two Dukes of Cornwall in one year
When Sir Arthur Conan Doyle visited Cornwall in March 1910, the Duke of Cornwall would have been the then Prince of Wales, who became King George V later that year. By the time that the Devil’s Foot story was published, Edward VII had died, George was on the throne and the new Prince of Wales, the future Edward VIII, became Duke of Cornwall as from May 2010. Both princes visited the duchy - which gave them a good income - before they became king. George, Prince of Wales and Mary of Teck well wrapped up for a visit to a Cornish tin mine in 1908: Their son Edward, Prince of Wales visiting Cornwall in 1922:

Sherlock Holmes in Cornwall: two small tribute books
Two books were inspired by Conan Doyle’s story The Adventure of the Devil’s Foot.
The first, presented as a lost monograph, is based on what Dr. Watson reports about Sherlock Holmes’s interest in the Cornish language. This comes early in the story, before they have taken on the case of the Devil’s Foot: “The ancient Cornish language had also arrested his attention, and he had, I remember, conceived the idea that it was akin to the Chaldean, and had been largely derived from the Phoenician traders in tin. He had received a consignment of books upon philology and was settling down to develop this thesis...” This comes at the end of the story, after they have solved the case: “And now, my dear Watson, I think we may dismiss the matter from our mind and go back with a clear conscience to the study of those Chaldean roots which are surely to be traced in the Cornish branch of the great Celtic speech." This book, only 26 pages long, is a discussion of the story: “A discussion of the Devil's Foot, with the text of the story.”
