He is said to have a huge fortune that came from selling his IT recruitment company. I find that hard to believe. There is a lot of speculation about this man - and the Middleton family - but not much real information.

George V, Queen Mary and PR for the British Empire
I like the propaganda images that come from the time of the first Windsors much more than I do those from earlier or later reigns. They are colourful and educational; they speak directly to people and they would have made the subjects of the crown feel patriotic and proud to be part of the great British Empire, which was at its peak in the 1920s. Queen Mary not only permitted but approved and encouraged these depictions of the royal family, as she considered it important to create the right public image. I suppose that many people today will not approve of the ‘racial stereotyping’ of some representatives of member countries. Not only that, we know what was going on behind the royal façade so most of the magic has gone. I really like the picture on the butterscotch tin:

Genuine mistakes, or are they telling us something?
I found and posted this on the other forum in May: “Oops! BBC accidentally shows a picture of Moors murderer IAN BRADY on story about Pippa's wedding. Pippa married James Matthews on Saturday at St Mark's Church in Berkshire. However, an icon on the Google search page read, 'Pippa Middleton's wedding: Guests arrive at church' showed an image of the Moors murderer.” Read more: www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-4525384/BBC-accidentally-shows-picture-IAN-BRADY.html#ixzz4hdap2wHoAlso in May, I found and posted about a US news agency that mistakenly mentioned Queen Victoria instead of Queen Elizabeth II: “Queen Victoria of England visited young survivors of the Manchester bombing on Thursday...” So what, if anything, are the messages here?

I suspect that is the purpose of the Middleton family: money launderers. It would explain a lot about their businesses...

The likes of Mary of Teck were powerful, respected figures. They understood spin and publicity, in ways the current generation do not. I think it is safe to say that the last truly respected and liked Royal was Queen Elizsabeth the Queen Mother. She was the last of that era, if you will. They are more like spoiled, pampered children, than responsible, capable adults.

Yes, Party Pieces and the IT recruitment company may be covers for something more sinister. Many people have said that they cannot be the sole sources of the Middleton/Goldsmith money.
I wonder what Queen Mary would have thought of these people!

Princess Diana and her Chinese army of helpers
I think that Princess Diana was popular and got away with a lot because of her appearance, youth and glamour. She dazzled the public, who had no idea of what was going on behind the scenes. One thing I noticed while skimming a few of the hundreds of articles about her that have been appearing on the 20th anniversary of her death is that she had more support and assistance in one day than some of us get in our entire lives – a slight exaggeration maybe, but that is the impression I get. She had astrologers, therapists, alternative medicine practitioners, beauty and fashion consultants, public speaking trainers, PR people, aides and assistants... and many people have come forward to say that they were someone she depended on heavily and was always phoning. They all gave her attention, advice and support. According to them, they were all key people in her life. This is just one journalist: “The phone calls could come at any time — last thing at night or in the early hours. They could be a brief hello or a conversation lasting for hours — one spanned the best part of an entire day, completely ignoring the domestic rhythms of meals and drinks. If I didn’t pick up, there would be urgent messages on the answering-machine or pager — no texts in those days — to ring back. Sometimes we would meet… As the years passed, I became a sounding board for her about other aspects of her royal life, someone she might come to with a problem, but also to exchange gossip or to hear the latest jokes. I would help her with speeches, suggesting phrases or themes, and also with private letters and others to charities and organisations she was interested in helping.” www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-4838254/Diana-s-call-RICHARD-KAY-recalls-final-conversation.htmlOthers have given similar reports. It makes Diana seem very empty on the inside, needy and dependent, desperate even, like a bottomless pit.

In Princess Diana’s own words: it was all a façade
There are some recent articles in the DM about Princess Diana that reveal how much she was suffering, right from the start of her marriage. The glittering, smiling public image was just a front to fool people; she was suicidal in private. “I’ve got what my mother’s got. However bloody you’re feeling, you can put on the most amazing show of happiness. My mother is an expert at that. Because I had a smile on my face, everybody thought I was having a wonderful time. That’s what they chose to think — it made them happier.” Read more: www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-4612290/Diana-s-tapes-reveal-moment-confronted-Camilla.html#ixzz4kFoQpajO People chose to think this? It was the impression they were intended to get. And her smiles never looked false, frenetic and over the top the way Kate Middleton’s often do. It was very convincing; many people would not believe the reports of suicide attempts for a long time, but they were true.

Some words from the future Edward VIII
Princess Diana’s words above remind me of what I learned recently about Edward VIII: he appeared to enjoy his royal tours but actually hated them and felt suicidal. He wrote this to a friend while on trip to Canada in 1919, when he was still Prince of Wales: “But I'm rather a wreck altogether angel as besides being worked to death physically I'm always worrying my head off about everything and have become the completest pack of nerves and live on them entirely. It's all such a strain and it's very wearing having to pull oneself together a pace and address huge crowds several times a day." www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2016/05/16/the-real-workshy-prince-how-edward-viii-complained-about-strain/This is the wildly successful trip that caused him to tell his private secretary on his return that he loathed it and wished that he could die. And yet he looks as if he is having a great time in Canada:

It get more interesting than that, however. This article has caught my attention, and has me wondering now. SOURCE: www.msn.com/en-gb/news/uknews/king-henry-viii-ordered-for-meghan-markles-ancestor-to-be-beheaded/ar-BBFbvrxThis makes me think of Kate Middleton, who has a number of faint Royal links. Maybe this is what they are reduced to - finding anyone with enough royal/noble links, but are "common" status now? Thus, the next question: Does Sarah Fergusson have, in fact, some noble links of her own? Is there a pattern emerging, perhaps?

I was wondering about MM. The consensus a while back was that it was all a PR exercise and that although Harry had cooled off she was trying to make it look as though they were still together. There were many reports of meetings but no evidence.
Now things look different. You are right, it is the connections and common elements that need to be investigated.

Well, there are several people with initials M. M. in the case! Some of the royal connections are very remote indeed, and that royal blood must be very diluted and shared with large numbers of people.
So will Meghan marry Harry or not?

Banned book about Dodi and Di
A book by an insider, promoted as the inside story of what really happened, was to have been published on August 31st this year. “Gagged! Book revealing 'explosive truth' about Diana and Dodi by Mohamed Al Fayed's right-hand man is pulled after tycoon's legal threats A new book, Diana And Dodi: The Truth, promised explosive new revelations about the fateful night in August 1997, when the pair died in a car accident in Paris, as well as fuel rumours of a cover-up. But the book by Michael Cole, who works for Dodi’s father Mohamed Al Fayed, is now at the centre of its own mystery after Mr Al Fayed dramatically intervened to prevent its publication. The book has been pulled and its potentially scandalous contents, based on years of painstaking research and first-hand insight by Mr Cole, may never be known. Mr Cole left Harrods to take early retirement in 1998, the year after the tragedy, but has continued to work for Mr Al Fayed as his spokesman. In 2008, he gave evidence at the inquest into the couple’s deaths, claiming he knew Diana had been pregnant with Dodi’s child and that Dodi had planned to propose.” Read more: www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4785272/Book-revealing-explosive-truth-Diana-Dodi-axed.html#ixzz4sMyrCHd2 How strange. It sounds just like something that Al Fayed would want to be published. Why wait until the book was ready to go? The contents would have been known much earlier. Surely the two men could have negotiated a deal, with Michael Cole just removing a few scandalous revelations to make his boss happy. Maybe this is a trick to increase sales when the book is eventually published. Maybe the pressure to stop the publication came from somewhere else... The book is ‘Currently unavailable’ on Amazon and ‘Out of stock’ on Waterstones, where it is priced at £20:

The Kents and Anmer Hall
There is a very tangled web of connections around Anmer Hall, involving several people, topics and themes of interest. First, a summary: Anmer Hall is a late Georgian country house near Sandringham in Norfolk. It has many associations with the royal family, starting from the time the Sandringham estate was bought by Queen Victoria as a present for the then Prince of Wales; Anmer Hall was later added to the estate. The Duke and Duchess of Kent leased the Hall from 1972 to 1990: “...The Duke and Duchess of Kent moved into Anmer Hall in 1972 with their three children. It was while living there that the Duchess had a stillborn child in 1977, a loss which caused her to fall into a state of depression. Best known for presenting the trophies at the Wimbledon tennis championships, the Duchess has suffered from poor health ever since, once telling reporters: “None of us goes through life unscathed.” After converting to Catholicism in 1994, she largely withdrew from public life and, with the Queen’s blessing, dropped her royal title to become simply Katharine Kent." www.express.co.uk/news/royal/...-of-Anmer-HallDuke and Duchess of Kent with their children at Anmer Hall in 1973: The eldest is a boy (George); the next is the girl (Helen), then another boy (Nicholas) – in the urn.

The Cambridges and Anmer Hall
After being leased by various occupants, Anmer Hall was given by the Queen to the Cambridges as a wedding present in 2013. The existing occupant had his lease terminated early, and the very expensive new kitchen he had put in was ripped out and replaced by the Cambridges. A new roof of bright orange tiles was put on. Many trees were planted so that when they grow taller, they will give the Cambridges more privacy. The major renovation is said to have been paid for with private funds. William and Kate were going to be based there, but their plans changed – or they received orders from above - and now they spend much of their time at Kensington Palace. Some of their staff were not happy with being expected to work in both places. The main housekeeper resigned in May this year: “A housekeeper who earned £35,000 a year to cook, clean and shop for the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and their children in their Norfolk home has quit her job after the post became 'too demanding', it has been reported. Sadie Rice, 35, has been working at the couple's country home for two years, but reportedly refused to spend more time at their London home, Kensington Palace, which they share with Prince Harry.A source at the Queen's nearby Sandringham Estate told the Sun: 'Sadie's a hard worker but the job's demands got too much, even for her. 'They wanted her to spend more time at Kensington Palace and her work was increasing all the time. 'She wasn't having a normal life outside work. Sadie's serving her notice and it seems nothing will change her mind. It's their loss.'” Read more: www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-4549356/Prince-William-Kate-s-maid-quits-demanding-job.html#ixzz4z3q3EUg2

Anmer: the workers are revolting
We have seen that Buckingham Palace kitchen staff walked out because they had had enough of being expected to work in both London and Windsor. Double duties may be part of the reason for the loss of staff at Anmer too. Sadie Rice, the royal housekeeper who resigned in May, was a replacement for someone who resigned after just a few months: “It can now be revealed that the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge are seeking a replacement for their former housekeeper, Amy Wood, 34, who last month unexpectedly resigned from her position after less than five months at the Royal couple’s home, a 10-bedroom Georgian stately pile on the Sandringham Estate, in Norfolk.” www.telegraphindia.com/1150315/jsp/foreign/story_8793.jspThere are suggestions that the frequent visits of Carole Middleton, who is said to be very demanding, are partly responsible for dissatisfaction among the staff. Just as Sarah Ferguson advertised anonymously for a dresser in The Lady, the Cambridges advertised there for a new housekeeper. It took three rounds of interviews before Sadie was given the job. There is as yet no news about a new advertisement going in, nor about a third senior housekeeper being found.

Frances Shand Kydd: Princess Diana’s mother
She was mentioned in a previous post that reported Princess Diana’s words about how they both used to dissociate and put up a smiling façade that hid much suffering. Her obituary in the Telegraph gives a good account of her life and background. "I've got no English blood," Frances Shand Kydd would say. "I'm a quarter American, a quarter Irish and half Scottish." The Irish inheritance came through the Roche family, who owned land at Trabolgan, County Cork, in the 17th century, built a large residence there in the 18th century, and added wings to it in the 19th…” Her conversion to Roman Catholicism reminds me of the Duchess of Kent’s conversion. The death of her first child, a boy, when he was only 11 hours old reminds me of the Duchess of Kent’s loss. Mrs Shand Kydd’s involvement with HCPT, a charity that takes disabled and disadvantaged children on pilgrimages to Lourdes, makes me think of Jimmy Savile and his Jumbulances. The Duchess of Kent is a patron of HCPT. Mrs Shand Kydd: On the eve of the funeral of her daughter Diana, Frances Shand Kydd attended a Requiem Mass at Westminster Cathedral in London. Frances Shand Kydd sat on the front row with the Duchess of Kent:

Two duchesses at Anmer
There is enough in the life of the Duchess of Kent to explain her inner torment, but I am wondering whether she - and other fragile ladies who married into royalty or the aristocracy such as Lady Lucan, the Marchioness of Londonderry and Earl Spencer’s first wife Victoria - saw or heard something they just couldn’t take. Perhaps they were affected by evil undercurrents and a poisonous atmosphere. I wonder whether Duchess Kate is affected by bad energy from the past while living there. I wonder whether history will repeat itself. Kate shares the Duchess of Kent’s interest in tennis. Royal Anmer:

Anmer and the van Cutsems
After the Duke of Kent and his family moved out of Anmer Hall, Norfolk landowner Hugh van Cutsem leased the property for 10 years. There are many connections and close ties between the van Cutsems and the royal family. The royals are godparents to van Cutsems, and vice-versa. Hugh van Cutsem was a Knight of Malta, and a Roman Catholic. He was described as yet another confidant and close friend of Prince Charles. His son William is godfather to Prince George. "...as their parents' marriage broke down, the two young princes, William and Harry, spent so much time in the care of the van Cutsems that Mrs van Cutsem became seen by some as a "substitute mother" to the boys. The couple's four sons, William, Edward, Hugh and Nicholas, became close friends of the princes; indeed, many people felt that it was in large part thanks to the van Cutsems that the two boys were able to enjoy something approaching a normal, carefree childhood." www.theprovince.com/life/roya...229/story.html

Princess Diana’s possible paternity
The suggestion that Sir James Goldsmith was Princess Diana’s real father has been around for many years now. It is not completely out of the question: she did look different from her sisters. Sir James Goldsmith was six foot four; Diana was very tall too. She had very blue eyes, and so did Sir James. If true, it would mean that she was half-sister to Zac Goldsmith and Jemima Khan: The much-reproduced pictures posted above show some obvious likenesses, in which Prince William is included. These relationships have been speculated about for many years – for example the Daily Mail discussed the possibility that Diana and Jemima Khan were half-sisters in August 2004 (Diana’s mother died in June 2004) – but life goes on and nothing happens. The DM plays a very clever game: they spread ‘ridiculous rumours’ in the name of reporting what crazy conspiracy theorists are saying. They attributed the Cambridge surrogacy allegations to the Russians; they blamed the Australians for the Diana paternity allegation! The usual excuse for silence from official royal family spokesmen is that responding just spreads the ‘vile slurs’, but in the Internet age they spread anyway, even in comments on mainstream media.

More about Princess Diana, her mother and Sir James Goldsmith
The Irish Independent picked up the story, and made some interesting points in this article from August 2004: “So is Diana really Sir James Goldsmith's daughter and if so, why does it matter? And why did top columnists in Fleet St rush into print last week to disclaim a story, which at present, is believable in exactly the same measure as it is deniable? In short, only DNA evidence can prove or disprove it. Personally, I've believed it for a long time and I'm hoping it's true. It certainly explains a lot about Diana: her passion for luvvies, her mood swings and her obsessive mothering… The circumstantial evidence that Diana is Sir James's daughter is certainly there and, as always with circumstantial evidence, it is seductive… Then there is the fact that Diana's mother, Frances Shand Kydd, is acknowledged to have had an affair with Sir James. That relationship is usually dated to some time after Diana's birth, which was a neat way to spare the feelings of all concerned (this is how Paula Yates's mother hid the fact that Hughie Green was Paula's father and coincidentally, it also took 40 years for the truth of that paternity to surface)… And not least there is the fact that Diana, in the throes of unhappy marriage, did not seek solace in - nor was offered solace by the Spencers - but rather in a surrogate family where she was much happier, the Goldsmiths.” www.independent.ie/irish-news/was-goldsmith-really-princess-dianas-father-lets-hope-so-26224028.htmlSo what they are saying is that admitting that two people had a relationship but moving the start date to some time that precludes the man’s being the baby’s father, may be damage limitation. James Hewitt, Princess Diana and Prince Harry come to mind here.

Smoking is the major cause of ageing in Kate Middleton?
There are some references to Kate Middleton’s ‘closet smoking’ and ‘former smoking’ to be found online: “… Pippa is aging as bad as Kate. I’m pretty sure they both smoke in an effort to keep their weight down – but between the smoking and the tanning, they are both prematurely aging. I mean, they both look like they are in their late 40′s!” katemiddletonreview.com/2014/05/07/cressida-bonas-ups-her-fashion-game-for-the-paps-and-so-does-pippa-other-stuff/ "Instead of hitting the gym and the tennis courts, the superfit Duchess would take gentle strolls with her dog Lupo. She gave up her habit of smoking the occasional cigarette and stopped drinking coffee at the Starbucks she frequented near Kensington Palace, conveniently close to an expensive maternity-wear shop. " “thank you for confirming that Kate use to smoke. many of her fans refused to acknowledge this or didnt want to believe it.” Read more: www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2245227/Duchess-Cambridge-pregnancy-How-Kate-vowed-Haribos-cigarettes-pizza-prepare-baby.html#ixzz3qhTsKcBt This would explain a lot, but is smoking all there is to it? I think that there are many other relevant factors in this case, some physical, some psychological.

Kate Middleton’s ageing: possible physical causes
Some of the procedures that Kate has adopted since her official engagement in 2010 to preserve and enhance her appearance for her new position – drastic dieting and facial treatments for example – may have backfired and made her look older rather than younger. Partying, drinking, eating disorders, running and sunbathing can be very ageing too, and at least some of these are, or were, part of her lifestyle. She could be suffering from lack of sleep, dehydration, malnutrition or even semi-starvation. There is also the possibility of drugs and medication of various kinds. I learned recently that when people start having Botox injections, they must keep up the treatments as otherwise they start sagging and look much worse than they would have if they had never used it. Maybe the effects wear off from time to time in her case. Wearing the wrong clothes and makeup can put years on someone too. Some more examples:

BoJo’s sister mentions the gleaming royal facade
Boris Johnson’s sister Rachel produced an article about Prince William that is surely intended to be ironic, although at first it looks like sugary drivel. From the DM August 2016: “RACHEL JOHNSON: Weepy William is no wimp - he's my ideal modern man And so to the continuing national hunt for Prince William's stiff upper lip. It was first reported missing when he told a boy who had lost his mum to cancer that he missed his own mother every single day, and had done for 20 years. It was still deemed AWOL a couple of days later when he visited a call centre that runs a helpline for worried parents and begged for 'an easy one, please'. He went on to explain why he wanted to be let off the hook. 'I'm carrying a lot of things at the moment. I will be in floods of tears at the end otherwise… Prince William and his perfect wife and family are the gleaming new shopfront of the Royal Family. If he were being true to strict Windsor form, he would allow no cracks in that fascia to show, as a point of principle and pride.” Read more: www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-3761529/RACHEL-JOHNSON-Weepy-William-no-wimp-s-ideal-modern-man.html#ixzz4IeOn7fF7The cracks started to show decades ago. The royals can’t conceal much now that the Internet is here. As for the perfect wife, there are large numbers of pictures and reports that show a very different sort of person.

Three people in another marriage
There are allegations that Queen Victoria actually married her servant and favourite John Brown. One of the Queen’s chaplains is said to have confessed on his deathbed to having presided over the marriage. He told someone who told someone... I am very suspicious of these convenient deathbed revelations! Another theory is that the Queen thought that John Brown was inhabited by the spirit of Prince Albert, which would make their unofficial relationship understandable and above board in her eyes. Here are the three people in the crowded marriage:

Two five-star ladies from overseas
Princess Alexandra of Denmark, called by Alfred, Lord Tennyson “Sea King’s Daughter from over the sea”, was selected as a suitable match for Edward, Prince of Wales, later King Edward VII, by his female relatives. Queen Victoria approved of her. She was popular, and is reported to have been very beautiful. I thought that she was a good person until I learned about the letter burning and her treatment of one of her daughters. There are five visible stars in her portrait and in the picture of another soon-to-be royal family member, and they remind me of the Queen’s EU hat! I am not sure how significant they are.
