Truthseeker. Gunter has written a book www.amazon.com/Not-Majestys-Service-Guenther-Focke/dp/1438916604about this. He moved to england years ago and now he is a private investigator of the royal family history. He says when he was born packages of food were dropped at their house from England. That was shortly before Philip wed her maj. He says Philip tried to have him and the mother moved to england to uncle dirkie. But somehow it didn’t workout but Gunter relocated later and became an engineer. www.dailymail.co.uk/columnists/article-353920/Riddle-Philips-secret-son. THE HERR TO THE THRONE! ________________________ Philip's My Dad, Claims Charles Lookalike The People (London, England) The People (London, England) June 23, 1996 | Collins, Sharon | Copyright Life for Britain's Royal Family is complicated enough as it is - now a German-born TV repair man says he could be Prince Charles' older brother. Gunther Focke - whose "palace" is a council flat in Corby, Northants - claims he's the illegitimate son of Prince Philip. He certainly has the right credentials - the nose, those ears and that smile. And, at 50, he's three years older than Charles - but he couldn't be the real heir to the throne because he is not the Queen's son. And the royals can rest easy if they think he is after some of their millions - or even a room in Buckingham Palace. Nein! Herr Focke just wants public recognition of his blood tie and to change his name to Von Battenberg, Philip's original family name. …” “Hail Prince Gunther of Corby! ________________________ Daily Mail (London) July 2, 2005 NATALIE CLARKE THERE are three crucial clues in this most intriguing of mysteries. They comprise a debate over shore leave dates, a beard and, most importantly of all, a pair of ears. Taken alone, they do not appear to be compelling evidence. Pieced together, however, they present, to the mind of Gunther Focke at least, a case of indisputable validity. Mr Focke, by turns private investigator and TV repair man from Corby, Northamptonshire, is quite certain he - and not the Prince of Wales - is the firstborn son of the Duke of Edinburgh, the result of a passionate post-war affair between the Duke and Focke's mother, Marie-Karoline. According to Focke, Prince Philip met his mother while in Germany on leave from naval duty shortly after World War II had ended in 1945. Marie-Karoline was a comely raven-haired frau who pulled pints in a bar frequented by British servicemen. Mr Focke claims they had an affair, but by the time he was born in July the following year, Prince Philip had returned to Britain, where he was courting the young Princess Elizabeth, whom he was to marry in 1947. It is tempting to conclude that Mr Focke, 58, is suffering from a sad delusion. The Duke, for one, is quite adamant about it. Yet, as we shall see, there is indeed a tantalising trail of clues which has led Mr Focke to believe he is Philip's son. And new evidence, revealed today by the Mail, serves to delete one or two of the question marks over Mr Focke's claims. Could it really be true that the Duke of Edinburgh, husband and consort of the Queen of England, has an illegitimate child whose name brings to mind the recent comedy hit, Meet The Fockers? 'My grandmother told me when I was a little boy that I must always remember that I was very special, and that one day I would find out the truth,' says Mr Focke“ www.guenther.co.uk/photo_gallery.htm

Gunther sees himself Percival/Merlin in the King Arthur Court of Camelot __________________________ From his book: Not in her Majesties Service : “It was one of Arthur White’s characteristics to hold his Round Table in ruins, castles and sometimes even in improvised Bedouin tents. He was able to afford a whole castle for a weekend. Maybe it belongs to him. After several meetings nobody asked if only five rooms or even the whole castle was rented. Nobody really wanted to know.
We met every three months in a small group of four or five. The host himself, Sir Arthur White, a lawyer back then, then the Spanish investment broker Miguel Xavier, the theologist Reverend Mill, and then of all people me, Günther Focke. It was most likely thanks to the Reverend Mill that I was sometimes invited to these meetings. He is still a good old friend of mine.
It was he who consoled me in times of deepest desperation by saying that everything will work out fine, even if the quest for my identity and origin would make my memories turn my world upside down up to the point where God Almighty would one day relieve me from my pain. Miguel was of the same opinion, » Focke! You old fool! You are like an angel from medieval times, forgotten by God to be brought back home. What are you still doing here? « He often used to say.
Then he would always hand me a Cuban cigar with a smile to make up for his outspoken comment. He was a rogue of the highest degree, but at times he was very serious. Arthur and he formed a coalition against me the night before. I decided to completely reveal myself to them and to report that some time after my meeting in London I received a package that had a substance in it … which leaked when I opened the package … which almost killed me.
Had I turned into such an enemy of the British Empire, or to put it better, an enemy of a selected circle of people? Me, the little Günther Focke, who grew up in a small town on the North Sea coast of Germany one year after the Allies had defeated the Third Reich and being called ‘Tommie’ by the local kids and adults alike.
This curse was to be the trap door of my life ..’.

Reichsburger ———————- @unseenl; A sector germans dont accept the current state and government. “Many identify with the German Reich of 1871-1918 or assert a form of self-rule similar to the sovereign citizens movement in the United States. The agency says most of those counted are male, over 40 and strongly attracted to firearms. But it says only about 5 per cent are considered far-right extremists in the classical sense. The movement is extremelSome of those who believe in the old Reich print their own passports and driver's licenses. They are also known to stockpile weapons, with the BfV adding in its report that some are ready to commit 'serious acts of violence'. In recent years, some of its adherents have attacked officers during police raids, afterwards claiming they have a right to 'defend their property', Die Welt reports.y diverse, with its adherents often sharing little more in common than a fundamental rejection of the Federal Republic of Germany.” www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-5986945/Rise-Reichsbuerger-Sharp-increase-number-extremists-reject-modern-Germany.html” quoted from dm

The Jacobites “Jacobites deny the validity of the usurpation of the throne first by the Prince and Princess of Orange (1688/9), next by the Princess Anne of Denmark (1701/2), and finally by the Elector Georg I of Hannover (1714) and his heirs to this day. For Jacobites, King James II and VII continued to reign until his death in 1701. He was succeeded by his son, James III and VIII, who in turn was succeeded by his sons, Charles III and Henry IX and I. By the death of the latter in 1807 the legitimate male line of the Royal House of Stuart became extinct. The succession to the throne then passed to the senior heir of King Charles I, descended from his youngest daughter Henrietta Anne; this prince was none other than Charles Emanuel IV of Savoy. The succession to the throne has continued until today when it is represented by Duke Francis of Bavaria. Jacobitism is, however, more than merely a belief that a different person has the best right to the throne. It is also a radically different understanding of the place which the monarch and the monarchy have within society. Jacobites reject the idea that the king has his authority delegated to him by Parliament. Many hold that the king's authority comes directly from Almighty God.” Jocobites

"Gunther sees himself Percival/Merlin in the King Arthur Court of Camelot" Lavendel I have only just seen this. We have come a long way since you posted this comment. By coincidence, Parsifal, Camelot, King Arthur have been hot topics recently, and I have more leads to follow. I need to look into this case.

"It is tempting to conclude that Mr Focke, 58, is suffering from a sad delusion."
As mentioned in another thread, this is a possibility in many cases. There is also the case of people being pawns for unscrupulous exploiters - Lambert Simnel and Perkin Warbeck for example - or for their being frauds who just want publicity.
