Some basic information to start with: Australian musician, singer-songwriter Nick Cave first came to my attention last May when the DM featured him because he was leaving Britain for the US to make a fresh start after a tragedy. He sang at Michael Hutchence's funeral. He is Tiger Lily's godfather. Peaches Geldof had four lines of one of his songs tattooed on her back. His father was killed in a car accident when Nick was 19. His 15 year old son Arthur died from falling off a cliff near Brighton after taking LSD. This happened in 2015. Nick Cave's dead son was a twin. Nick Cave and his twin sons
Arthur Cave, who died at the age of 15 after falling off a cliff near Brighton, was one of twins. His brother is called Earl. Arthur is the fair one on the right, with the white roses:  Nick Cave with the twins again. Arthur is on the left in this one:

You are right: it can get very scary indeed.
Trying to understand how it all works helps to reduce the fear though.
You have reminded me that there are several cases of twins where one died and one survived. For example, Lord Mountbatten and one of his twin grandsons died in the IRA bombing.
Maybe I should start a thread and bring all the information together, including the references to Thomas, which means ‘twin’.…

It was not Nick Cave who inspired the open book but Faris Badwan. It's in the article you posted. Maybe you have gotten confused because of the picture which was put right in the middle of the text: |

“It was not Nick Cave who inspired the open book but Faris Badwan.” You are probably right. I thought that although the tattoo was dedicated to Faris Badwan, the design was inspired by Nick Cave. She liked his songs and he has written about nooses in both songs and plays: O Lord, every god-damn turn I take
