Pindar is a name of interest in its own right. It applies across a variety of Boards and Threads.
This name appears in many contexts. For example:
Pindar, or Pindaros, was an Ancient Greek lyric poet
Peter Pindar was a pseudonym for an 18th century English writer of satirical verse.
Pindar is variously reported to be a dragon or lizard king, white skinned reptilian royalty, a high level Satanist, a Rothschild and, acccording to David Icke, Prince Charles’s real father.

Pindar and some tenuous connections to Richard III
Much of the material about Richard III, a person of great interest, is outside the scope of this thread, but by coincidence he is associated with a Pindar or two. Pindar 1
Comedian Mike Bennett founded York's Richard III Museum. He worked for the local firm Pindar, which has Middleton connections and which will be covered later. “Mike Bennett in his one-man show, An Audience with King Richard III.” www.yorkpress.co.uk/news/11093398.Father_of_two_who_founded_York_s_Richard_III_Museum_dies__aged_55/Pindar 2
Richard III may or may not have had the two princes murdered. Rather like the Jack the Ripper case, there are many books on the subject, including this one: The name Prenderghast has many variants. According to WiKi, Pinder is one of them! en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Prenderghast Pindar 3
The Folio Book of Historical Mysteries Ian Pindar (editor) “In this book of historical whodunits, Ian Pindar has drawn upon the wisdom of many of the leading experts to dispel myth and propaganda, weigh the evidence and reveal the most likely solutions to 20 of the past's most intractable mysteries. Some of these mysteries, such as the murder of the princes in the Tower, are familiar from our schooldays. Others were the causes célèbres of their day: why was the Mary Celeste abandoned by her crew? Did Anastasia miraculously survive the callous murder of the Russian imperial family in 1918?“

Three Pindars, two surviving houses and a bunker
The Greek poet Pindar’s residence was the only house left standing after his city was razed by Alexander the Great in 335 BC. It was deliberately spared because Pindar had written poems praising Alexander’s ancestor. Sir Paul Pindar was a wealthy merchant and diplomat. His London timber-framed house miraculously survived the Great Fire of London in 1666. More information about this house can be found here. It is quite a coincidence that two men called Pindar should have houses that survived when others did not. The name Pindar has been deliberately used for a very different building complex, perhaps in the hope of sharing some of the luck! Pindar is a military citadel, a bunker built deep below the Ministry of Defence in Whitehall in central London. It was created to serve as a crisis management and communications centre. The implication, of course, is that even if London were to be flattened in a nuclear exchange, Pindar would survive.

The Pindar bunker and a coincidence
There is reported to be a whole rabbit warren of tunnels under central London, with escape routes, secret rooms and control centres for the elite. The Pindar bunker complex, an ultra-safe military headquarters, is known to lie under the Ministry of Defence building. In March this year, the Queen unveiled a new memorial for soldiers killed in Iraq and Afghanistan. This memorial is outside the MOD building - on the river front side – thus it is above the Pindar bunker: I have been to see this memorial; it looks a bit like a pair of white wings – or two sails. Look at the name on this yacht:

Theresa May and the Pindar bunker
“Theresa May has been briefed on protocols for the threat of a nuclear strike being launched against Britain. And should war become a reality, the PM’s security staff will whisk her from Downing Street to a top secret complex around 700ft away across Whitehall. Officially, this bunker does not even exist. Daily Star Online can now reveal Britain’s plan for the outbreak of nuclear war. Mrs May’s security detail was put to the test earlier this year during the Westminster Terror Attack. Her bodyguards bundled her into a car as terror nut Khalid Masood knifed a cop to death after ramming his car into pedestrians on Westminster. When full-scale war hits Britain, the PM will be taken to the so-called Pindar Bunker which is allegedly buried four-stories deep beneath the Ministry of Defence. Doomsday clock scientists have said the world is closer to full-scale nuclear war than at anytime in more than half a century” www.dailystar.co.uk/news/latest-news/615636/Nuclear-War-Bunker-Missiles-Britain-Pindar-Ministry-Defence-Theresa-May-London-World-3-MoDThe article quoted above dates from a time before the recent threats from Kim Jong-un. By coincidence, it appeared just as Pindar was being discussed for the first time on the old forum. What about all of us by the way, where will we hide? Where will the royal family go?

Another bunker and another Pinder
As we have seen, Pinder is an alternative spelling for Pindar. Here are some tenuous but interesting connections: After Queen Victoria died, the royals kept a low profile for a while. As soon as the court mourning was over, the new King Edward VII took Queen Alexandra to the theatre. The play was Sherlock Holmes. This play was adapted from Conan Doyle’s work by actor William Gillette, who played the part of Holmes, including in the special gala performance for the royals. It contained elements of several of the stories. Gillette made some changes and put in some characters and material of his own. In his play, Moriarty lives in a secret underground bunker. An actor called Hubert Pinder played a minor character in some performances of this play. Poster for the play, with some blue and orange:

Pindar and the Middletons
Mike Bennett, the comedian with Richard III connections mentioned above, worked for a local firm called Pindar.
This firm has a connection to the Middleton family, about whom there is much speculation.
In summary:
Peter Middleton, Kate's grandfather, spent around two months as a co-pilot with Prince Phillip in South America in 1962. There is speculation that he saw or learned things that enabled the Middletons to blackmail the royal family. Just speculation.
Michael Middleton, Kate's father, endorsed e-commerce platform provider Pindar Screen Pages, part of Pindar PLC, in 2007, when he used their services to re-design and re-launch the website for the Middleton business Party Pieces. Pindar had first built the website for the Middletons in 2002.
As at 2007, Pindar PLC looked like a legitimate company with some big-name clients. Directors were members of the Pindar family, who are based in Scarborough. That town appeared many times in the Jimmy Savile thread on the DIF.
Is this just a big coincidence? Why was this company chosen when there are many more much closer to home. Did Michael Middleton choose this company deliberately, to send a message to - someone? It seems unlikely that he would have known what Pindar means to conspiracy theorists. Maybe he was guided subconsciously towards them.

Boris Johnson and Pindar at the 2012 Olympic Games
A tenuous but interesting connection. “Members of the Olympic movement were given a taste of British culture at a Royal Opera House reception where London Mayor Boris Johnson welcomed them by reciting a poem in English and ancient Greek. Committee members including Prince Albert of Monaco and Princess Charlene listened as Boris read the ode specifically created for the London 2012 Games at his suggestion by Oxford academic Dr Armand D'Angour. The poem in the style of Greek author Pindar contains puns on the athlete's names and that of Lord Coe. Declaiming in his typically flamboyant fashion before an audience including Princess Anne, the Mayor, who studied Classics at the university, won cheers, applause and whistles.” www.hellomagazine.com/royalty/201207248752/royals-arrive-london-olympics-2012/
