There is a timeline of events in the YouTube video I posted up. There is a lot of of thongs that have happened, and it revolves around him creating Wikileaks, which is a repository of all sorts of information given to them by whistle-blowers.

The "espionage" he did a plea deal to is around the Democrat National Convention heak/leak, which showed Bernie Sanders was screwed over by Hillary Clinton. It has always claimed to have been Russian hackers.
