www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-53297864I fully endorse him, because the celebritisation of politics is a farce already, so why not make it official? Come on, Kanye, get all your paperwork filled in so we can meme you into the White House! #Kanye2020

Could he be a joke candidate? I prefer our Lord Buckethead and Count Binface!

Of course he's a joke candidate! But so are Biden and Trump. Two senile old liberals calling each other names. Kanye would at least bring a bit of energy and fun to that snorefest. Kanye (or any other vapid celebrity) would be the first explicitly joke President, which is why we should get behind him. Nothing would show up the ridiculousness of the two-party system more. Hopefully Joey Essex will become Prime Minister in the not too distant future as well. Kanye is famous around the world. His name alone will get him plenty of votes. He won't win in 2020 - for a start, he's missed the deadlines to submit his papers in 6 states. But I wouldn't be surprised to see him run as a Republican in the post-Trump era. My prediction for 2020 is that Biden will win and he will win big. Trump energises the left with his edgy talk and alienates his 2015-16 supporters with lack of action. He infuriates everybody. The Republicans are haemorrhaging suburban voters, a key voting block. Trump has no one left except Q cultists and diehard Republicans, and that's not nearly enough to win. A lot can change, and I may look a fool in November, but as things stand right now, I see no other outcome.

Kanye West’s Birthday Party
This brings back memories of the 2016 US election. There was a very amusing presidential candidate called Vermin Supreme, who wore a boot on his head and carried a huge toothbrush. His platform included more money for time travel research, preparing for the zombie invasion, compulsory tooth brushing and free ponies for all. Unfortunately he has dropped out of 2020 already - or been dropped - so we are in need of someone just as good. This sounds promising: “Rapper Kanye West has signaled that he no longer supports U.S. President Donald Trump and said he had entered the presidential race to win it, in an interview published on Wednesday. He noted during the interview that he had never voted before in his life and said he believes that vaccines are the 'mark of the beast.' West revealed that he would run under a new banner, the Birthday Party, because 'when we win, it's everybody's birthday,' he reasoned. He added that he would receive guidance from Elon Musk and obscure vice presidential candidate Michelle Tidball, a preacher from Wyoming. West said he envisions a White House management model based on the secret country of Wakanda in the film Black Panther.“ www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8501091/Kanye-West-breaks-ranks-Trump-vows-win-U-S-presidential-race-Forbes.html

"I don't know anything about Shepard Fairey..."
Your new avatar looks like his work - if not it is in the same style.

Shepard Fairey and the Hope poster
It was his poster for the 2008 election that made Shepard Fairey famous. He hopes that his artwork will influence the result of the 2020 election. Here is an extract from a recent interview: "'I've presented a counterargument to what I consider some of the monolithic forces of oppression that most people feel powerless to do anything about,’ Fairey said. ‘Cumulatively, we all have power, we all have a little bit of power ourselves so that's where the title of the show comes from.’... What frustrates Fairey the most about the current political climate in the US is what he called ‘a lack of respect for truth. 'When I say 'truth' I mean science and fact and knowledge. There's an anti-intellectuality in our politics that is insanely disturbing, and then just the lack of respect for human dignity and a lack of compassion.’" edition.cnn.com/style/article/shepard-fairey-beyond-the-streets-interview/index.htmlShepard Fairey with his Hope poster:

It’s official now
It seems a little late to run a campaign, but he has filed a form: ”Kanye West filed with the Federal Election Commission on Wednesday in his first official step toward running for president in November. The rapper filled out the first form required by the FEC to run for president – Form 1: Statement of Organization – declaring that the Kanye 2020 committee will serve as the 'Principal Campaign Committee' with West as its candidate. West 43, declared he will be running as a third party candidate for the BDY Party, which he says stands for the Birthday Party.” www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8527069/Kanye-Wests-candidacy-OFFICIAL-Rap-star-files-Federal-Election-Commission-documents.html

Vermin Supreme stood again, as I understand it.
This election is proving beautiful. President Trump got so much of the popular vote, they had to produce an even bigger mountain of fraud to swing it. And made it all so utterly obvious to all and sundry.
You can only change the system if the people are willing. And this election has been such a mess, people will want change.

“Vermin Supreme stood again, as I understand it.” I am amazed that you remember Vermin! I had forgotten all about him. I remember following the developments in 2016 – I learned a lot about US Independents and Third Parties – but this time I could not get very interested, although I do wonder what results the fraud investigations will have. Is Donald Trump still in with a chance? Vermin Supreme has run in the name of various parties in the past; this time around he tried to be the official Libertarian candidate. His platform still includes preparing for the Zombie Apocalypse, time travel, mandatory toothbrushing and free ponies for all.
