I just noticed this, and I thought it might be of interest to people. This - from my perspective - is of interest, given what was unearthed the last time he ran for US President. invictusforpresident.com/This might be worth monitoring, I am still deeply wary of him. |

It may be just - or primarily - a ploy to avoid having social media accounts closed and videos removed. It is illegal to do this to people who are running for political office as it might affect the results of elections. There have been big online purges of the far right in the US and this is one way round it.
So far, 816 candidates have filed as declared presidential candidates but they have a long way to go and many will not get very far.

Am I happy to show what video? The one I posted? In the end, this is news, and he has been on our radar in the past, on CCF. Do I agree with his stance? No, I believe there are more subtle ways of achieving ends, and more effective, too. What he is doing, is trying to reach out to people, and for people to get to know who he is. He is trying to humanise himself, with this radio-style speech. The Alt-Right has been talking about this, and they don't believe it is going to be a success, and they are not upset about that. They are more interested in being heard, their message reaching a wider audience. Frankly... I want him to be in Primaries against Donald Trump. That would be popcorn worthy!  I don't know what to make of Mr. Sol.. but I don't trust him. I don't know why, but... there's something about him. I cannot place, it, however. Or fully articulate it. But I don't trust him. |

There is the political side and the symbolic side.
I remember that we followed many political people and developments on the CC forum but we don’t really cover politics on here.
I can’t think of much else to put in the symbolic Sol Invictus threads.
If anything relevant and suitable comes up, I will post it.

I know... it's a two-pronged matter with him. People are free to talk about politics, there is no ban on it.  I'll try to keep an eye on this, see what surfaces. The fact he is trying to challenge Trump has my immediate attention. |
