Just to let people know I'm still alive. Had not realised I had been away for as long as I have. Many apologies for that.
I have learned during my absence, that when building a property, it is a good idea not to build it on top of an old cesspit. Otherwise, you will have problems. To explain, I've been spending time on an archeology site, which has been an education in itself. Really has helped to make me see why what we do is so important.
You guys are awesome - don't forget that!
I'll try to be here more often. Assuming I don't fall asleep after work, or something. Which has happened lately.

Well, alive or not it is good to see you back. The winter is coming so maybe you will spend more time indoors.

You are the main force behind this site. It is your show. You were up very early this morning: it must be difficult to fit us in with NaNoWriMo but it always gives us a boost when you have been on.

The absence of Avacyn
From Avacyn: “It always surprises me how people feel that me being here is a good thing.” I think that the following extract could be applied to the members - we are of course all angels - and this site - otherwise known as the Lofts: “During Avacyn's absence, the angels suffered. Without their leader, the flights became disorganized and ineffectual. Many retreated from view, lost without the power that created them. Avacyn's disappearance took a toll on the Lofts, the holy site above the Thraben Cathedral where Avacyn dwelled with her hosts of angels. From the outside, the Lofts appear to be a long attic tucked under the eaves. But once inside, the space is much larger than it appears to outsiders. None but the angels are permitted to enter the Lofts. Because of this, there was no outside witness to the dramatic deterioration of the space during Avacyn's absence. Before, it was an elegant hall in pristine condition. But the hall literally crumbled without the archangel, until rubble covered the flagstones and rain fell through the gaping holes in the roof.” magic.wizards.com/en/articles/archive/feature/planeswalkers-guide-avacyn-restored-part-1-2012-04-11

Now I want to go and play this set again, when it was Standard Legal. Good times. "When the Helvault shattered, Avacyn emerged at her full strength. Her presence infused the Avacynian protective wards with holy magic once again. The angelic host was restored to its full power, which gave the humans the chance to gain the upper hand in their fight against evil. The three flights of angels reformed in greater numbers than before. Once again, they became Avacyn's soldiers on the front lines of battle. Only this time, instead of barely containing the monsters of the world, the angels and their human allies began pushing them back, away from the bastions of human civilization. For the first time, they were winning." And we are all winning!

“Avacyn's soldiers on the front lines of battle.“ That’s us! I am delighted to see you on here again. I know very well that this site was originally intended to be used as emergency accommodation by people who had been made homeless by the sudden closure of the CC forum. This was just a short-term solution. Lavendel said, “I think it was genius for Avacyn to name this forum a project.” Yes, there is, or rather will be, more to Alternaticity than just a forum. I also know that in the long term you hope to put a lot of Fortean material on here - when you get the chance: a demanding job, outside archaeological interests and other online projects take up a lot of your time. In the medium term, I am happy to keep going while the energy, interest and inclination last. I haven’t run out of steam yet! Other posters make great contribution and keep adding good new leads. The topics may not be quite what you had in mind, but the posts certainly involve alternative ways of looking at things.

“Avacyn's soldiers on the front lines of battle.“ That’s us! I'm not that grandiose, honestly! Well, I'm trying to be here more. Lots for me to wade through, an I'm not daring - yet - to even look at the Monarchy board. THat's a mountain of information to go through, and I know it's going to be a time sucking exercise. I did it as an immediate act, because I knew the situation was time sensitive. The longer there was nothing, the more likely we all would have completely drifted apart. If I hadn't acted, who would have? Sometimes, you have to bite the bullet, step forwards, and do something. In this case, it was get a forum started for everyone. It was a quickly made decision. Everything was time sensitive, so i was thinking on the whole matter extensively. I knew there needed to be a replacement, but what should replace CCF? I also needed to make sure that whatever was created, was not going to be shut down immediately. So in the end, I wanted to have something replace the Conservative Conspiracy Forum, and have something that could survive the forum being shut down. By making it all a project, I can have it exist on other platforms and mediums. It's harder to kill a project, than a forum. And I know this will upset people, but one problem CCF had, was how much it was conservative. It made it a target, that and being towards Christianity. I want it clear that Christians and conservatives are absolutely welcome on here, but I decided on political and religious neutrality for a reason. It makes it harder to have this place nuked. It'll happen, in time. Time and energy is the thing here.

You are very right about the need for time and energy. We do seem to have been posting mainly on the Sussex and other Monarchy threads recently. However, it is not all just royal gossip but historical background information and interesting references and connections. Sherlock Holmes is practically a member now!

Sherlock Holmes is a member... of the frum, or the Royal Family?
Oh, and there needs to be an Alice in Wonderland thread, doesn't there? Need to see to that...
There is so much going on right now, it's staggering. I wholly recommend watching the X22 Report on YouTube, as it covers a huge amount, and is packed with information.
It's getting hard to keep up with everything. It really is!

I meant that Holmes was a member of this forum!
You are right - I am amazed at what is happening to the government.
You are also right about not being able to keep up with everything.
I am not sure what else could go in a dedicated Alice in Wonderland thread, unless we put copies of existing posts into a cross-board thread.

Somoene has joined as Holmes? Interesting!
Well, it's very, very interesting. May quit, because she's on the run. THe coup against Trump failed, and now? Her role in it is going to be exposed with all of the Declassification going on. And given her body language, what we know is just the tip of the iceberg. She's done much, much more, and much, much worse.
I'm looking at Boris Johnson and Dominic Raab being the final two. It seems the most logical.
It might be an idea, a crossboard thread. But there is also the fact that it can have original material as well. It was very much a specific construct. It's no coincidence it's used in MK Ultra programming. None at all.

What I meant to say was that Sherlock Holmes is such a regular on here that he is starting to seem like a member! He gets into many threads and has connections with many topics.
I am not sure what you mean about Theresa May and Donald Trump. I have not been keeping up with political developments.

I'm with you. Maybe I should give him a VIP membership? As for May, this video shows it all. Her body language spoke volumes.

Well, I've ended up rather preoccupied, I'm afraid. Ordered a new computer, got a new tablet and bookcase. Not to mention doing a little behind the scenes stuff for the forum. Hoping to be around tomorrow, and resuming normal posting.

That's great! I am completely self-sufficient when it comes to my blog, but on here I rely very much on other posters for news ideas and leads, feedback etc. Just look at what has resulted from your noticing that golden key in the cartoon.

Well, the new computer arrived at my workplace yesterday, and I was on overdrive last night, trying to get the dratted thing to work. After a few efforts, I have it up and running. What my new computer is: thepihut.com/products/raspberry-pi-4-model-b?variant=20064052740158It's slightly technical, but is proving a really good machine. It's something I need to talk about, as it is a viable alternative to a full size PC. As for tablet, I'm using the new one right now. It's a mid-range Samsung, so is something a bit more up to date than th e old one. As for finding connections, I do my best. Glad I'm able to contribute on here!

Well, I'm not stealing and borrowing someone elses! I've gotten a budget gaming keyboard and mouse, and have screens as well. Got one on Tuesday second hand, to make it simpler. And honestly? It's gorgeous as a desktop PC. You can use it for many things, like education, programming and the like, but as a desktop? It works amazingly well. I added an external hard drive I have already, and it is just like a PC.
I probably should do a few te3chnology posts or something, to give a proper explanation of everything.
