More about Hartmoor the book
There was a big announcement in January 2005, well in advance of any actual writing: “British royal Sarah Ferguson has sold the rights to her next book for $1.9 million (GBP1 million) - and she hasn't written a word of it yet. Historical novel HART MOOR is the DUCHESS OF YORK's first adult tome and has been purchased by a major New York publisher and movie distributor IEG... A source says, "The deal will see Fergie's book turned into a major Hollywood film. It's thought to be worth upwards of GBP1 million. " People who underestimate her literary talents might be surprised when Hart Moor is finished. This book is going to be a huge success." www.contactmusic.net/sarah-ferguson/news/ferguson-lands-.1.9-million-book.film-dealSame old same old. I am wondering whether there is any truth in the story of the film deal. A picture of Fergie at the time, with the typical fixed false smile:

Yet another business disaster
Sarah Ferguson received over £500,000 in ‘business loans’ from a theatre company that is now in financial trouble: “A theatre company chaired by Conservative peer Lord Grade was placed into administration yesterday after a court heard how a Hong Kong tycoon with links to the Royal Family ran up an expense account totalling almost £5million. Businessman Dr Johnny Hon invoiced the ‘simply extraordinary’ sum of £4.7million to Gate Ventures, now chaired by Lord Grade, when he acted as chairman before the former BBC boss took over in December 2017. The Duchess of York was a director of the company before stepping down in December. Gate Ventures loaned Sarah Ferguson £287,577 and loaned £232,003 to her tea, dinnerware and jewellery company, Ginger & Moss...” The commenters got it right: “How the heck was Fergie a director of anything. She couldn't direct traffic.” “Whoever made her a director needs their head examined. Whoever loaned her money is a fool.” Sarah Ferguson, with the usual fixed smile, and Dr. Hon: Interesting how people connected to the Royal Family have a habit of failed Businesses... a good example being Ben Fogle. It's almost as if they were never companies, but monetary black holes - or even money laundering fronts!

Royal businesses and charities: what is really going on?
Some royal activities are not hidden behind much of a façade. The billionaires for example want maximum publicity: that is what they are in it for. They want their pictures taken with the royals as often as possible as evidence that they move in the right circles and really are friends with them. The royals want publicity for their charities and businesses and to provide evidence that they are ‘working’. Then there is information that is easily obtainable - from Companies House or the Charity Commission for example. Many good investigators are on the case. Much of the material I post about the dodgy dealings with Russians and others, not to mention all the failed enterprises, comes from the DM and other MSM. However, as Avacyn ’s comment shows, we can’t stop there. We can’t take it all at face value: “Interesting how people connected to the Royal Family have a habit of failed Businesses... a good example being Ben Fogle. It's almost as if they were never companies, but monetary black holes - or even money laundering fronts!” I agree. Sarah Ferguson in particular has been a one-person monetary black hole for decades! There are several possibilities at this level. One is that funding or donating to a business enterprise or charity may be a way of reducing a huge tax bill. Then there is the use of donated money primarily for salaries and travel and other expenses. Little or nothing may be spent on charitable activities or to build the business. Money laundering does seem very likely; Lavendel has said this too. We can’t leave it there either though; this level may be a front for something even worse.

It might be a way to make money disappear. I wish I could say more, but my mind keeps on glazing over. It's been a busy day at work... It would take a large team of financial experts to unravel all the ‘creative accounting’ and movement of money that could well be going on in these companies and charities. Outsiders and laymen may have their suspicions but they can’t understand much or prove anything. The best that some of us can do is to accept that these organisations cannot be taken at face value: they are covers and fronts for various activities and pretexts for people to get together. We should not fall for all the hype about the great new line of scented candles and the wonderful wellness for women global projects. There are usually ulterior motives and a hidden agenda in the case. The business and charitable activities often entail travel to many countries. Getting holidays on expenses seems relatively harmless compared with what else might be going on. Many meetings are also involved. These could be a cover for secret talks.

Prince Andrew used trade missions as a front
This DM article is a good illustration of a point I made earlier about some commercial or charitable meetings and travel being a cover for unofficial activities: “The Duke of York repeatedly exploited his taxpayer-funded role as Britain's trade envoy to work behind the scenes for his close friend, the controversial multi-millionaire financier David Rowland. Bombshell emails reveal that while on official trade missions meant to promote UK business, Andrew was quietly plugging a private Luxembourg-based bank for the super-rich, owned by Rowland and his family. In an astonishing conflict of interests, the Prince allowed the Rowlands to shoehorn meetings into his official trade tours so they could expand their bank and woo powerful and wealthy clients. He also passed them private government documents they had no right to see. It can also be revealed that, at the time, Andrew co-owned a business with the Rowlands in a secretive Caribbean tax haven. It was to be used to lure the Prince's wealthy Royal contacts to invest in a tax-free offshore fund. One email exchange reveals that when Andrew was facing the sack from his envoy role because of the Jeffrey Epstein scandal, Rowland's son and business lieutenant, Jonathan, suggested their commercial activities could continue 'under the radar'. Andrew responded: 'I like your thinking.'" www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7742249/EXPOSED-Prince-Andrews-deals-tax-haven-tycoons.htmlThat was just a short extract! It is not necessary to understand all the aspects of off-shore funds and tax havens to see that this is all very unethical.

Charities founded by Sarah Ferguson Lavendel your posts about charities in the Yorks thread are very relevant to this thread. There are many leads, topics and connections to think about. I have been intending to say something about Sarah Ferguson’s children’s charities. I need to remember that it is important to be careful not to make allegations about specific people - we don’t want any trouble! It was transformer I think who suspected that a lot of sinister things were going on behind the scenes in some big charities that operate in Africa, trafficking for example. As you said, some people work for charities just to gain access to vulnerable people. David Icke said that some organisations do the exact opposite of what they were officially founded to do. For now, I will just say that Sarah Ferguson founded Children in Crisis in 1993. It is now merged with Street Child, of which she is a patron and which dates from 2009. Some of the connections speak for themselves: One of the trustees is Dr. Anthony Wallersteiner, who is the son of Robert Maxwell’s business partner Kurt Wallersteiner - who by coincidence had Vancouver connections. Ross Gow, who has supported the work of Street Child in Sierra Leone, is a spokesman for Ghislaine Maxwell, who is a friend of Dr. Anthony Wallersteiner. There is more to come about all this.

Charities and the zero-sum game
Some people found a fundraising, grant-seeking charity because they want a show of their own. They think that they will be a good figurehead. They want to ensure that it is run efficiently. They want a say in how the money is distributed.
This is not always in the best interests of the cause. They may be getting money that might otherwise have gone to an established charity that already has the infrastructure to run the projects.
Sarah Ferguson could have been an ambassador for Save the Children for example.
In addition to Children in Crisis, she started Chances for Children, which was the charity whose office was in the World Trade Center at the time of the 9/11 attack.

The Big Announcement: Prince Edward did it too
Sarah Ferguson is not the only royal to launch a new enterprise with a big fanfare only to see it collapse. This also happened with Prince Edward, Earl of Wessex and his production company Ardent.
From an earlier post:
“Investors who pumped nearly £2.2 million into Ardent Productions – best known for its royal documentaries – were effectively left with nothing when it folded in June 2009.
The Earl had boasted that Ardent would become one of the country's leading production firms when he launched the venture in 1993.”

More about Hartmoor the company
“Ferguson said she started the company after meeting someone who has masterminded the careers of several big entertainers, but didn't say who. She said she invested into Hartmoor all the money she earned from producing the film ‘The Young Victoria and from her children's book series. The idea for the company, she said, seemed fantastic but Ferguson told the magazine that the reality proved far different. ‘ I could write a really interesting book about finance for women, and the first bit of advice I would give is never sign away your intellectual property. You won't have any control over your own life. That's what happened to me',she said.” abcnews.go.com/Business/sarah-ferguson-duchess-debt/story?id=8925887I wonder who that mastermind was! That was what she said in September 2009; guess what she did in October 2009: “Sarah Ferguson has signed over the 'intellectual property assets' to her picture book Tea For Ruby, about a little girl who tries to perfect her manners in time for tea with the Queen, which topped the US Bestsellers List last years. She has also sold the rights to Little Red, another series about a flame-haired young girl and her friends which is loosely based on herself.” www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1222450/Sarah-Ferguson-sells-intellectual-rights-childrens-books-faces-600-000-debts.htmlPromoting Little Red while wearing a psychedelic coat:

Another ‘good idea’ that came to nothing
“Publishers have rejected a children’s book by Sarah Ferguson about a tree that survived the 9/11 attacks because of fears Americans will find it offensive. The Duchess of York, 51, sent publishers an outline of the 32-page book, The Little Pear Tree, last month. A source said: ‘The Duchess got her people to contact at least three publishers but none showed any interest because the Americans regard works of fiction about 9/11 as insulting.’ Last night a spokesman said: ‘She is going to publish The Little Pear Tree herself as an e-book on the internet. All proceeds will go to charity.’ A pear tree near the Twin Towers had its branches stripped during the attack. Workers brought it back to life as a symbol of hope. Sarah is currently touring the U.S promoting her new book, Finding Sarah, and her TV show of the same name.” www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2010735/Sarah-Fergusons-9-11-childrens-book-rejected-publishers-offensive-publish.htmlAs a commenter pointed out, there were many US TV programmes and films based on 9/11 so the real reason for the rejection was probably that the book was no good! Here is an Amazon review for the above mentioned Tea for Ruby that supports this theory: “Awful in so many ways: - Boring and hideously repititive. Same line page after page. I understand the value of repetition in children's books, but this takes it to a new extreme - Mean spirited. The way you teach a kid manners is squash her enthusiasm and chastise her page after page? - Non-sensical. (SPOILER) The kid thinks she is going to have tea with the queen. Turns out that it is a ruse from her grandmother. And the kid is still happy? I ain't buying it. This is in no way celebrity sniping. I don't know who the heck the Duchess is and after reading this book I'm not sure I want to find out.”

More from the September 2009 article
“Ferguson said she had several projects in the works to ‘to keep the wolf from the door.’ She will be working with the National Geographic channel on six programs about female adventurers like Gertrude Bell; HandMade Films, a children's film company is turning one of her children's books into a movie and St. Martin's Press is publishing her first novel next year.” abcnews.go.com/Business/sarah-ferguson-duchess-debt/story?id=8925887None of these projects seems to have come to anything! HandMade Films' glory days were behind them at this point; they soon got into financial trouble and their shares were suspended.

Prince Andrew, more familiar names and Outward Bound
Outward Bound is a charitable enterprise that helps young people develop survival skills through adventures in the wild.
There are both registered companies and charities involved, with minor name changes along the way.
Prince Andrew was an Outward Bound company director from 1997 until he resigned in November 2019. He was also a patron of the charity Outward Bound Trust.
Princess Beatrice is currently a trustee of the Outward Bound Trust.
In the past, Prince Philip has been a patron and Lyn Forester de Rothschild - featured on the Epstein connections thread - has been a co-director of the company, as has Jimmy Savile.
There are accusations of abuse at some of the summer camps run by Outward Bound.

Prince Andrew and Outward Bound again
As previously mentioned, charitable and business activities can be used as a cover for something else. Prince Andrew used his work for Outward Bound as the reason he could not have met Virginia Roberts in New York: “Prince Andrew had 'gaps' in his diary and was allegedly unaccompanied for several hours in New York at a time when Virginia Roberts was in the US and said they had sex, a former aide has claimed today. The Duke of York denied the alleged liaison with Jeffrey Epstein's 'slave' was possible because of his full itinerary while in the city as patron of the Outward Bound Trust in April 2001.” www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7705753/Questions-raised-gaps-Prince-Andrews-New-York-charity-trip.htmlThe DM article has the timeline: he did have some free time as there are many gaps in his schedule. The Outward Bound dinner he mentions sounds rather like the Pizza Express Woking story!

Hermann Bühlbecker: a new name to investigate
A DM article from today has provided yet another rich ‘friend’: “Sarah Ferguson has thanked her friend, German confectionery entrepreneur Hermann Bühlbecker, for supporting 'hard workers in the UK'. The Duchess of York, 60, took to Instagram to share a picture of herself carrying a box filled with Lambertz treats - a bakery brand owned by her pal.” www.dailymail.co.uk/femail/article-8159777/Sarah-Ferguson-thanks-friend-supporting-hard-workers-UK.htmlIs this some kind of advertisement for the Lambertz products? If so, how much did she get for it? I wonder whether he knows any of the other people on the Epstein thread... With the box of goodies: Just look at their hands - and are those the flames of hell down below:

Hermann Bühlbecker, friend of royalty
Hermann Bühlbecker is a new person of interest. He is the owner and CEO of Lambertz, a German company that produces prints and a variety of confectionery and biscuits. His company was once the court supplier to the royal houses in Bavaria, Prussia, Belgium and the Netherlands and still supplies many noble customers today. He goes to fashionable events and cultivates royals and celebrities. He has been photogrpaphed with the Swedish queen, Prince Albert of Monaco, Bill Clinton, Leonardo di Caprio, John Travolta and Sarah, Duchess of York. He and Sarah Ferguson have some kind of business arrangement. She promotes his products. He sent some of his products to the wedding of Princess Eugenie. On good terms here: Pushing product together:

Now Prince Andrew is pushing Lambertz products!
He has got in on Sarah’s act. The Yorks have been packing Lambertz cupcakes into pink gift bags to give to workers at a hospice in Windsor. This is so obvious: I wonder how much Hermman Bühlbecker paid them for this publicity! I also wonder why they are not wearing gloves and masks. They are not looking too well here: perhaps they desperately need Hermann’s money:

Amanda Thirsk has left Pitch@Palace
Amanda Thirsk was Prince Andrew’s private secretary. She was sacked after his disastrous TV interview. She stayed on as CEO of Prince Andrew’s business venture Pitch@Palace, which has moved out of Buckingham Palace and is (?was) going to be re-launched as Pitch Connect. She resigned from this position a few days ago. Other directors resigned earlier, so now only Johan Eliasch, who has been featured a few times, is left to run the show - or sinking ship. It could be that she just wants to get away from it all or it could be something to do with the virus. Events that were planned for China, the Middle East and other places will probably have to be cancelled. With Prince Andrew in happier times:

It’s payback time for the Prince Andrew Charitable Trust
The Charity Commission received PACT’s annual report for the year ending March 2019 in April this year, 82 days late. It contains something very interesting: “After the year end and in correspondence initiated by the Trustees, the Charity Commission raised a concern about remuneration paid to one of the Trustees (who has since resigned) in their role as a Director of the subsidiaries, which the Commission considered to be an unauthorised Trustee benefit. Having considered the matter in light of the Commission’s concern, the Trustees concluded that the best interests of the Trust would be served by securing full reimbursement, which was agreed to and paid by the Duke of York's Household.” apps.charitycommission.gov.uk/Accounts/Ends40/0000290140_AC_20190331_E_C.pdfThe trustee who resigned is Amanda Thirsk, Prince Andrew’s former private secretary and Pitch@Palace person, who has been mentioned a few times on here. She was paid £355,297 in installments over a five-year period.

What has happened to Prince Charles? Dragonfly Girl I am copying your video here - although the Cornwalls thread is relevant too. I am not very good at picking up these things, but my first impression was that Prince Charles looks ... different! Something is a bit off - something seems weird. It could be that he has put on weight or is ill or worried about Prince Andrew - or other family problems.

I suppose that the sound and picture quality could be very poor - or Prince Charles could have had a course of Botox!
