The DM has reported that Andrew set up a company with his friend "Johan Eliasch, a Monaco-based tycoon behind the top sports brand Head", but disguised his involvement with the name 'Andrew Inverness' (his Scottish title is the Earl of Inverness) and gave an incorrect residential address.

"The firm, Naples Gold Limited, was incorporated in November 2002, with both men joining as directors shortly afterwards. It has filed paperwork ever since, including a recent set of accounts (showing no trading activity) submitted to Companies House earlier this week.

In normal circumstances, the business affairs of a senior royal are widely reported. Yet Naples Gold has never once been the subject of scrutiny.

Indeed, until the Mail came across its existence this week, neither Prince Andrew nor Mr Eliasch had ever publicly spoken about it.

Furthermore, it seems that everyone involved in the creation of Naples Gold has, over the past 17 years, taken steps to keep its royal links secret....he claimed, erroneously, that he inhabited a Grade II-listed Georgian mansion on South Audley Street in London's Mayfair. The vast property was not where he lived. At the time, it was the offices of sports firm Head, and today it appears to be Mr Eliasch's London address."

The article also mentions the lavish trip that Andrew made to Thailand in 2001, funded by Eliash, and includes this photo of him on a yacht on that trip. It is often claimed that the woman standing is Meghan Markle, but I have seen a photo of the same woman from a different angle and closer, and it is not her.

The Yorks and Jimmy Savile

Jimmy Savile’s connections with the royals have been very widely reported, but it seems like a good time for a reminder.

From a 2012 DM article about auctioning Savile’s belongings:

“Sir Jimmy was also a firm favourite with Prince Andrew and his former wife Sarah Ferguson.

One Christmas card features a Thelwell-style photo of the young Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie wearing riding hats and jodhpurs at a stables and another card is signed: ‘Dear Jimmy, Bestest wishes for a great birthday, Andrew, Sarah, Beatrice, Eugenie.’ The cards are estimated at £300 to £500.”

Princess Michael of Kent and her Russian ‘friend’

Many Russian billionaires are targeting members of the royal family.

Russian tycoon Mikhail Kravchenko was a friend of Princess Michael of Kent:

“There were photos of the princess and her ‘toyboy’ that shocked the world, and forced the pair to insist repeatedly that their Venetian break in 2006 was just a business meeting.

They also caused great embarrassment for the princess’s husband, Prince Michael of Kent, the Queen’s cousin...”

Sarah Ferguson and the pig farm

Sarah Ferguson’s finances are always causing her trouble it seems. She frequently has ideas for new enterprises and she usually manages to find people who for one reason or another will provide financial backing for her money-making schemes, many of which come to nothing.

A very ambitious plan from 2002:

“This is the first glimpse of Sarah Ferguson's £2million Italian estate, which, with the Tuscan nobleman who was once her lover, she plans to turn into a health spa, hotel and organic farm.

Fergie and Count Gaddo della Gherardesca bought the rambling, derelict site - a former pig farm - earlier this year and hope to encourage a stream of wealthy British clients. It is also believed she aims to lavishly renovate one of the dilapidated barns to create a private summer retreat...

The count is providing financial backing for the development with the Duchess of York's name adding currency in PR terms.

They have more ambitious plans: the pair have been negotiating the purchase of a neighbouring property with a hot natural spring - the aim, to turn it into one of Europe's premier health and beauty centres.

And Fergie - no doubt inspired by her former brother-in-law Charles's efforts at Highgrove - is fascinated by the idea of creating a self-sufficient Tuscan farm that grows organic fruit and vegetables and rears livestock and fish.”

Lavendel you are very right. She uses her title and royal connections rather than the necessary talent, abilities, good judgement and business sense. These things also need a gap in the market: who needs more of the same old product ranges!

I saw the latest DM article but didn’t read it thoroughly as I am still in the past - I will catch up with that when I get the chance.

Sarah Ferguson’s financial affairs are complicated and the reports are contradictory: huge debts and possible bankruptcy on the one hand, raking it in with endorsements, merchandising and book deals on the other. As a commenter said in an old DM article:

“She's always working. She's always bankrupt. Twenty odd years now we know about. Maybe something isn't adding up.”

A lot is almost certainly going on below the surface and behind the scenes, but the pieces of the jigsaw puzzle are scattered all over the threads on here and in old and new articles in the DM.

I would love to know how much money she has had out of ‘investors’ over the years for her exciting new projects and what they got in return for it. I would also like to know about Prince Andrew ‘s involvement.

The York family founded a not-for-profit initiative, Key to Freedom, in 2012. This project gives women in India, women who are often victims of trafficking, the opportunity to sell goods at the popular British retailer Topshop and in the Royal Collection shops.

Key to Freedom is not registered at the UK Charity Commission.

There are connections to Pitch@Palace and the Prince Andrew Charitable Trust.

Topshop is owned by billionaire businessman Sir Philip Green, whose reputation is not of the best. He appears in the Epstein connections thread.

Sarah Ferguson tried very hard to get business deals, but many came to nothing or backfired.

The extract below mentions Wedgwood going into administration: this was in 2009. I don’t think that she would have been a particularly suitable ambassador for their wonderful china and pottery products.

Fires are not funny, but her scented candle deal of 2006 literally backfired:

Duchess Discoveries

Duchess Discoveries was yet another of Sarah Ferguson’s attempts to make it big, but it never came to much.

The Duchess Discoveries website duchessdiscoveries.com/ was scrubbed clean some time after August 2019, but I found it in the Wayback Machine.

Sarah Ferguson used pseudo-science, false claims and a big weight loss to promote a blending/juicing device with apparent miraculous powers! It was called the Fusion Xcelerator Weight Loss System.

She planned to defeat obesity globally! From her archived website:

“I launched the Duchess Discoveries initiative to highlight exciting new innovations designed to improve our lives, starting with solutions to defeat the global obesity problem.

By supporting projects that actively help people control their weight there is also an even bigger benefit – Duchess Discoveries have already pledged hundreds of thousands of dollars to charity to help towards solving this problem.

This includes PACT, the Prince Andrew Charitable Trust. PACT is committed to supporting new technological and scientific research and developments in the digital age, which find solutions to global problems. This kind of work is already having an enormous impact on people’s lives.”

I wonder how much she got for promoting this world-saving, life-changing kit:

Sara Ferguson and an accidental killing

Sarah Ferguson was recently mentioned in connection with ‘former flame’ Count Gaddo della Gherardesca - they were going to start a business on a former pig farm.

The Count’s nephew Giuseppe Orlando della Gherardesca was accidentally shot dead while on a wild boar hunt in 2010.

He had reportedly emerged from a hide to finish off a wounded boar. A fellow hunter saw movement in the bushes and opened fire.

“The Duchess said she remained very close to the family, in particular with Giuseppe’s mother, Sibilla. ‘We’ve had endless happy times with Sibilla and the family. We are devastated for them and cannot imagine the pain in their hearts,’ the duchess said yesterday, while en route from Britain to New York to host a fashion fundraising event for the victims of Haiti’s devastating earthquake."

By coincidence, as mentioned earlier there are boars on the Ferguson family crest.

Sarah Ferguson was involved with Manuel Fernandez’s business affairs:

“Although he is now masterminding the launch of a dynamic internet lifestyle company named vVoosh, he says he lost out on the lucrative salary he enjoyed at his old job while getting his new venture off the ground.

The Duchess of York acts as a trustee for the charitable wing of his new company, which he says brings in a salary of around £670,000 less than he would have earned in regular employment.”

The vVoosh Charitable Foundation was registered in August 2016.Their accounts are overdue and they appear never to have been active.

It seems that the ‘dynamic Internet lifestyle company’ didn’t do too well: in October 2019 a creditor brought a petition to wind up vVoosh.

So yet another exciting new project came to nothing.

Does Sarah Ferguson have a bad effect on everything and everyone she is involved with?

Sinister Sarah

Fergie might seem like a big joke and a walking disaster, but a summary of the deaths in the lives of people close to her suggests something more sinister.

Her mother was killed in a car crash in Argentina in 1998. Just like Sarah’s relation by marriage Princess Diana, she wasn’t wearing a seat belt.

Jane Andrews, Sarah’s aide/dresser who murdered her boyfriend in 2001, has been featured in several posts.

The sister of her ‘friend’ Manuel Fernandez was murdered in 2008.

The nephew of her ‘friend’ Count Gaddo della Gherardesca was accidentally shot dead during a wild boar hunt in 2010.

Perhaps it is all just a coincidence - just like all those deaths that happened in Prince Charles’s circles.

Pitch@Palace is changing

There is a new announcement on the website:

BoJo, the US businesswoman and Prince Andrew

Boris Johnson is indirectly involved with some of Prince Andrew’s events at Buckingham Palace.

He did many favours for his ‘friend’ Jennifer Arcuri, a US model and businesswoman:

“Johnson’s register of interests as mayor makes no mention of Arcuri or her company, but he spoke at four of her events. She was also given thousands of pounds of sponsorship by the mayor’s promotional agency London & Partners and access to trade trips with Johnson despite failing to meeting the criteria.”

Boris arranged for her to be invited to a Buckingham Palace reception to meet Prince Andrew, after which she expected to secure more funds for her business.

It is unclear how she secured the ticket to the D5 Summit of “digital government" as her Innotech Network was not among the nine British companies formally invited.

She made the most of her opportunity to pitch to Prince Andrew at the Palace:

“Threading her way through milling guests – mainly men in suits – sources say she bowled up to Prince Andrew, flashed a megawatt smile and explained a little of her background. Their encounter was 'brief' but afterwards she declared the Prince to be 'a real cutie'. What he made of her is not recorded.”

Presumably Prince Andrew allowed her to attend as a favour to BoJo.

Sarah Ferguson and yet another new project

According to the DM, she has signed a deal to produce seven new children’s books with an independent publisher in Australia. Serenity Press also offer a self-publishing service.

This seems a little strange to me - maybe no UK or US publishers are interested.
