So David Rowland paid off some of Fergie's debts? I wonder whether Prince Andrew actually paid for the use of his plane.

More financial scandal for Andrew - againThe DM has reported that Andrew set up a company with his friend "Johan Eliasch, a Monaco-based tycoon behind the top sports brand Head", but disguised his involvement with the name 'Andrew Inverness' (his Scottish title is the Earl of Inverness) and gave an incorrect residential address. "The firm, Naples Gold Limited, was incorporated in November 2002, with both men joining as directors shortly afterwards. It has filed paperwork ever since, including a recent set of accounts (showing no trading activity) submitted to Companies House earlier this week. In normal circumstances, the business affairs of a senior royal are widely reported. Yet Naples Gold has never once been the subject of scrutiny. Indeed, until the Mail came across its existence this week, neither Prince Andrew nor Mr Eliasch had ever publicly spoken about it. Furthermore, it seems that everyone involved in the creation of Naples Gold has, over the past 17 years, taken steps to keep its royal links secret....he claimed, erroneously, that he inhabited a Grade II-listed Georgian mansion on South Audley Street in London's Mayfair. The vast property was not where he lived. At the time, it was the offices of sports firm Head, and today it appears to be Mr Eliasch's London address." www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7792117/Prince-Andrew-pictured-riding-Windsor-revealed-used-pseudonym-set-secret-firm.htmlThe article also mentions the lavish trip that Andrew made to Thailand in 2001, funded by Eliash, and includes this photo of him on a yacht on that trip. It is often claimed that the woman standing is Meghan Markle, but I have seen a photo of the same woman from a different angle and closer, and it is not her.

Billionaire businessmen
Johan Eliasch is a familiar name. He has appeared on here before. He was a director of Pitch@Palace. I said this earlier: “How many billionaire businessmen have got a hold on the royals?” There is a new name to add to the list of billionaire businessmen associated with various members of the royal family: Vichai Srivaddhanaprabha, who as reported elsewhere was killed in the Leicester helicopter crash. “The article also mentions the lavish trip that Andrew made to Thailand in 2001, funded by Eliasch...“ Vichai S was from Thailand...his polo and football connections got him into the right circles:

The Yorks and Jimmy Savile
Jimmy Savile’s connections with the royals have been very widely reported, but it seems like a good time for a reminder. From a 2012 DM article about auctioning Savile’s belongings: “ Sir Jimmy was also a firm favourite with Prince Andrew and his former wife Sarah Ferguson. One Christmas card features a Thelwell-style photo of the young Princesses Beatrice and Eugenie wearing riding hats and jodhpurs at a stables and another card is signed: ‘Dear Jimmy, Bestest wishes for a great birthday, Andrew, Sarah, Beatrice, Eugenie.’ The cards are estimated at £300 to £500.” www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2180953/Jimmy-Savile-Auction-One-time-Jim-fixes-charity-Saviles-personal-treasures-fetch-small-fortune.html

Prince Michael of Kent and the Russians again
There is a lot of information about Russians and the royals in the Miscellaneous thread, but this seems the best place for some connections. Prince Michael of Kent speaks Russian and makes many business trips to Russia: he wants to build bridges and improve relations. At least, that is the official reason for his involvement with Russia and the Russians: anything could be going on behind the scenes. He is Patron of the Russo-British Chamber of Commerce and he has often opened their annual forum. Andrei Guriev, mentioned elsewhere as the owner of the penthouse in the St. George Wharf Tower, has also been a participant.

Princess Michael of Kent and her Russian ‘friend’
Many Russian billionaires are targeting members of the royal family. Russian tycoon Mikhail Kravchenko was a friend of Princess Michael of Kent: “There were photos of the princess and her ‘toyboy’ that shocked the world, and forced the pair to insist repeatedly that their Venetian break in 2006 was just a business meeting. They also caused great embarrassment for the princess’s husband, Prince Michael of Kent, the Queen’s cousin...” Three in this marriage too? www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2147338/Princess-Michael-tender-moments-Russian-tycoon-Mikhail-Kravchenko.html

The Kents and another mysterious death of a Russian oligarch
Princess Michael of Kent’s friend Mikhail Kravchenko was murdered in May 2012. The DM noticed something significant about the timing of his death: “As the years passed, the ‘friendship’ was largely forgotten by the public. But yesterday, after the discovery of Kravchenko’s lifeless body riddled with bullets near Moscow, it returned to haunt this most controversial of royal couples all over again... Only last week, it emerged that Prince Michael had secretly received £320,000 from the exiled Russian tycoon Boris Berezovsky – who is an enemy of the Russian president Vladimir Putin. Surely it is only a bizarre coincidence that a close friend of the prince’s wife should be assassinated in Moscow just a week after Berezovsky’s largesse was revealed?” www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2147338/Princess-Michael-tender-moments-Russian-tycoon-Mikhail-Kravchenko.htmlIt certainly is quite a coincidence. The DM should do more articles like this. There are so many people and connections involved that it needs a Chinese army of top quality investigators to join all the dots.

Sarah Ferguson and the pig farm
Sarah Ferguson’s finances are always causing her trouble it seems. She frequently has ideas for new enterprises and she usually manages to find people who for one reason or another will provide financial backing for her money-making schemes, many of which come to nothing. A very ambitious plan from 2002: “This is the first glimpse of Sarah Ferguson's £2million Italian estate, which, with the Tuscan nobleman who was once her lover, she plans to turn into a health spa, hotel and organic farm. Fergie and Count Gaddo della Gherardesca bought the rambling, derelict site - a former pig farm - earlier this year and hope to encourage a stream of wealthy British clients. It is also believed she aims to lavishly renovate one of the dilapidated barns to create a private summer retreat... The count is providing financial backing for the development with the Duchess of York's name adding currency in PR terms. They have more ambitious plans: the pair have been negotiating the purchase of a neighbouring property with a hot natural spring - the aim, to turn it into one of Europe's premier health and beauty centres. And Fergie - no doubt inspired by her former brother-in-law Charles's efforts at Highgrove - is fascinated by the idea of creating a self-sufficient Tuscan farm that grows organic fruit and vegetables and rears livestock and fish.” www.standard.co.uk/news/fergies-2m-pig-farm-6300449.htmlI don’t think that this one ever got off the ground. UnseenI, great find. these connections are way out of our usual suspects. Its getting an eastern twist. I cant stop laughing about Sarah business ventures. she seems to always look for ventures which need time, patience, hard work and savvy and she has none I think she starts the ventures to wash cash for people. like her latest venture needs patience, online business is hard now with all fakes, delivery horror stories and many big corps in that sector are going bankrupt. I think she wants to troll the sussexes. so she benefits by association. when meg was saying royal life is infair she went out crying too that she suffered as royal. Now i think after harry has stepped out; she will want Beatrice to move to America to run her merchadise business and compete with sussexes for American market.

Sarah Ferguson and her string of new enterprises
“I cant stop laughing about Sarah business ventures. she seems to always look for ventures which need time, patience, hard work and savvy and she has none” Lavendel you are very right. She uses her title and royal connections rather than the necessary talent, abilities, good judgement and business sense. These things also need a gap in the market: who needs more of the same old product ranges! I saw the latest DM article but didn’t read it thoroughly as I am still in the past - I will catch up with that when I get the chance. Sarah Ferguson’s financial affairs are complicated and the reports are contradictory: huge debts and possible bankruptcy on the one hand, raking it in with endorsements, merchandising and book deals on the other. As a commenter said in an old DM article: “She's always working. She's always bankrupt. Twenty odd years now we know about. Maybe something isn't adding up.” A lot is almost certainly going on below the surface and behind the scenes, but the pieces of the jigsaw puzzle are scattered all over the threads on here and in old and new articles in the DM. I would love to know how much money she has had out of ‘investors’ over the years for her exciting new projects and what they got in return for it. I would also like to know about Prince Andrew ‘s involvement. Promoting juicers and hair straighteners on the QVC shopping channel:

Sarah Ferguson, a young Spanish entrepreneur and Bob Geldof
Sarah Ferguson is often reported as attending events with a ‘suitor’, a ‘boyfriend’, an ‘ex-beau’ or ‘former flame’. There may be some kind of business deal in the case! There was the Italian mentioned above in 2004; in 2013 there was a Spanish Internet entrepreneur called Manual Fernandez. They attended Bob Geldof’s wedding together in September 2015: “They have been coy about their relationship since first meeting nearly two years ago. But the Duchess of York seemed perfectly happy to flaunt her romance with dashing entrepreneur Manuel Fernandez on Saturday afternoon. Sarah Ferguson, 55, looked supremely cosy on the arm of her 47-year-old boyfriend as they made their way to Sir Bob Geldof's lavish wedding to Jeanne Marine in the South of France.” This makes me think of Princess Michael of Kent and her Russian toy-boy!

Sarah Ferguson, Key to Freedom and Sir Philip Green
The York family founded a not-for-profit initiative, Key to Freedom, in 2012. This project gives women in India, women who are often victims of trafficking, the opportunity to sell goods at the popular British retailer Topshop and in the Royal Collection shops. Key to Freedom is not registered at the UK Charity Commission. There are connections to Pitch@Palace and the Prince Andrew Charitable Trust. Topshop is owned by billionaire businessman Sir Philip Green, whose reputation is not of the best. He appears in the Epstein connections thread. Key to Freedom: what is going on?
From November 2019, a time when Prince Andrew was attracting a lot of attention: “A project set up by the Duke of York to help sex trafficking victims has made no direct donations for two years. Key to Freedom is listed on Prince Andrew’s website as a personal initiative to help trafficked women by selling handmade scarves and clothing. The project’s website names Topshop and the Royal Collection gift shops but both said they no longer stocked Key to Freedom products. One campaigner who held meetings with the duke’s team about the campaign said that it felt like ‘reputation laundering’. He added: ‘A lot of people get involved with these campaigns because there’s a nice social event and they get to visit a palace.’” www.thetimes.co.uk/article/prince-andrews-aid-for-abuse-victims-dries-up-b6zpts82qThe website Keytofreedom.org was last updated on 8th November. More failed money-making enterprises from the pastSarah Ferguson tried very hard to get business deals, but many came to nothing or backfired. The extract below mentions Wedgwood going into administration: this was in 2009. I don’t think that she would have been a particularly suitable ambassador for their wonderful china and pottery products. Fires are not funny, but her scented candle deal of 2006 literally backfired:

When will Sarah Ferguson ever learn?
I have been looking at Sarah Ferguson’s past money-making activities, and patterns are emerging:
An apparent desperation for money, probably because of debts, commitments and an expensive lifestyle.
Frequent mentions of ‘charity’ without much evidence of substantial donations. This applies to Prince Andrew too. It just seems a way to make their enterprises seem legitimate. They say it to press people’s buttons and get them to buy stuff.
One failed enterprise, new initiative or ‘good idea’ after another, with in some cases an associated abandoned website.
And now she is going to start merchandising on a very big scale. If it didn’t work then, why does she think it will work now!

Duchess Discoveries Duchess Discoveries was yet another of Sarah Ferguson’s attempts to make it big, but it never came to much. The Duchess Discoveries website duchessdiscoveries.com/ was scrubbed clean some time after August 2019, but I found it in the Wayback Machine. Sarah Ferguson used pseudo-science, false claims and a big weight loss to promote a blending/juicing device with apparent miraculous powers! It was called the Fusion Xcelerator Weight Loss System. She planned to defeat obesity globally! From her archived website: “I launched the Duchess Discoveries initiative to highlight exciting new innovations designed to improve our lives, starting with solutions to defeat the global obesity problem. By supporting projects that actively help people control their weight there is also an even bigger benefit – Duchess Discoveries have already pledged hundreds of thousands of dollars to charity to help towards solving this problem. This includes PACT, the Prince Andrew Charitable Trust. PACT is committed to supporting new technological and scientific research and developments in the digital age, which find solutions to global problems. This kind of work is already having an enormous impact on people’s lives.” I wonder how much she got for promoting this world-saving, life-changing kit:

Duchess Inc.
This is the name of Sarah Ferguson’s new lifestyle brand. There will be a wide range of luxury products, including jewellery, biscuits, bath products, bed linen, scented candles... It is still in the design stage and she is looking for backers. With her track record, finding them may not be easy. In 2009, her American lifestyle and wellness company Hartmoor collapsed with debts of more than £600,000. Maybe she is desperate; maybe she is delusional; maybe she is both!

Sara Ferguson and an accidental killing
Sarah Ferguson was recently mentioned in connection with ‘former flame’ Count Gaddo della Gherardesca - they were going to start a business on a former pig farm. The Count’s nephew Giuseppe Orlando della Gherardesca was accidentally shot dead while on a wild boar hunt in 2010. He had reportedly emerged from a hide to finish off a wounded boar. A fellow hunter saw movement in the bushes and opened fire. “The Duchess said she remained very close to the family, in particular with Giuseppe’s mother, Sibilla. ‘We’ve had endless happy times with Sibilla and the family. We are devastated for them and cannot imagine the pain in their hearts,’ the duchess said yesterday, while en route from Britain to New York to host a fashion fundraising event for the victims of Haiti’s devastating earthquake." www.telegraph.co.uk/news/worldnews/europe/italy/7188843/Italian-aristocrat-killed-during-boar-hunt.htmlBy coincidence, as mentioned earlier there are boars on the Ferguson family crest.

Sara Ferguson and a murder
Sarah Ferguson was recently mentioned in connection with ‘toyboy’ Manuel Fernandez. His sister was murdered in 2008: “A close friend of the Duchess of York is suing Essex Police for nearly £1m for failing to prevent his sister's brutal murder, which he claims derailed his successful career. Businessman Manuel Fernandez claims his life disintegrated after his sister Maria Stubbings was choked to death with a dog leash by her boyfriend Marc Chivers and dumped in a toilet in December 2008. The 52-year-old, who was rumoured to have dated his ‘close friend’ Sarah Ferguson, is fighting for £900,000 at Central London County Court, claiming the murder left him ‘socially isolated’ and unable to work. But police claim he was not so grief-stricken that he was unable to enjoy a social life, highlighting that he was pictured in HELLO! magazine partying with the Duchess of York and Spanish actor Antonio Banderas in 2017...” www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2019/07/01/duchess-yorks-close-friend-sues-police-900000-failing-prevent/“The Duchess of York and Manuel Fernandez in London together in 2017”

Sarah Ferguson, Manuel Fernandez and vVoosh
Sarah Ferguson was involved with Manuel Fernandez’s business affairs: “Although he is now masterminding the launch of a dynamic internet lifestyle company named vVoosh, he says he lost out on the lucrative salary he enjoyed at his old job while getting his new venture off the ground. The Duchess of York acts as a trustee for the charitable wing of his new company, which he says brings in a salary of around £670,000 less than he would have earned in regular employment.” www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2019/07/01/duchess-yorks-close-friend-sues-police-900000-failing-prevent/The vVoosh Charitable Foundation was registered in August 2016.Their accounts are overdue and they appear never to have been active. It seems that the ‘dynamic Internet lifestyle company’ didn’t do too well: in October 2019 a creditor brought a petition to wind up vVoosh. So yet another exciting new project came to nothing. Does Sarah Ferguson have a bad effect on everything and everyone she is involved with?

Sinister Sarah
Fergie might seem like a big joke and a walking disaster, but a summary of the deaths in the lives of people close to her suggests something more sinister.
Her mother was killed in a car crash in Argentina in 1998. Just like Sarah’s relation by marriage Princess Diana, she wasn’t wearing a seat belt.
Jane Andrews, Sarah’s aide/dresser who murdered her boyfriend in 2001, has been featured in several posts.
The sister of her ‘friend’ Manuel Fernandez was murdered in 2008.
The nephew of her ‘friend’ Count Gaddo della Gherardesca was accidentally shot dead during a wild boar hunt in 2010.
Perhaps it is all just a coincidence - just like all those deaths that happened in Prince Charles’s circles.

Pitch@Palace is changing
There is a new announcement on the website:
“Pitch@Palace Global continues to support the growth of Entrepreneurs through its vibrant ecosystem.
As Pitch@Palace Global looks to its future opportunities, it is taking the first part of 2020 to refresh the brand, centralise its vision and move forward with an impactful programme for the coming year.
The updated website to reflect the new position will be launched in Spring 2020.”
With directors resigning and Prince Andrew out of the picture, I wonder what they will do now.

BoJo, the US businesswoman and Prince Andrew
Boris Johnson is indirectly involved with some of Prince Andrew’s events at Buckingham Palace. He did many favours for his ‘friend’ Jennifer Arcuri, a US model and businesswoman: “Johnson’s register of interests as mayor makes no mention of Arcuri or her company, but he spoke at four of her events. She was also given thousands of pounds of sponsorship by the mayor’s promotional agency London & Partners and access to trade trips with Johnson despite failing to meeting the criteria.” www.theguardian.com/politics/2019/nov/18/jennifer-arcuri-says-boris-johnson-left-her-to-be-fed-to-the-lionsBoris arranged for her to be invited to a Buckingham Palace reception to meet Prince Andrew, after which she expected to secure more funds for her business. It is unclear how she secured the ticket to the D5 Summit of “digital government" as her Innotech Network was not among the nine British companies formally invited. She made the most of her opportunity to pitch to Prince Andrew at the Palace: “Threading her way through milling guests – mainly men in suits – sources say she bowled up to Prince Andrew, flashed a megawatt smile and explained a little of her background. Their encounter was 'brief' but afterwards she declared the Prince to be 'a real cutie'. What he made of her is not recorded.” www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-7516161/Boris-Johnsons-model-friend-claimed-Duke-York-real-cutie.htmlPresumably Prince Andrew allowed her to attend as a favour to BoJo.

House of Windsor - house of cards?
Princess Anne’s son Peter Philips advertised milk for a Chinese audience. Now he is getting a divorce and his Canadian wife Autumn is returning to her homeland. He used his relationship in the advertisement: “The unedifying scenes show Harry’s first cousin, Peter — now 15th in line to the throne — in dinner jacket and bow tie staring out of the window of a palatial house as a state carriage draws up. It suggests he is watching the arrival of the monarch at a royal palace. The ad is spliced with images of a country pile, thought to be Longleat House in Wiltshire, and a replica of a royal carriage. Dad-of-two Peter, 42, tells viewers: ‘As children, we used to spend a lot of time down at the dairy. There was a herd of Jersey cattle at Windsor and we were brought up on it [the milk]. ‘And it was always much fuller of flavour, much creamier than other milks that we had growing up.’ Peter appears in two ads which were shown on China’s Dragon TV. The Jersey milk is sold by Bright Dairies, a multinational corporation owned by the Shanghai government.” www.thesun.co.uk/news/10791374/peter-phillips-toe-curling-milk-promo-is-a-stark-warning-to-harry-and-meghan-of-the-perils-of-financial-independence/I wonder what deals were done behind the scenes and whether any billionaire businessmen were involved. I also wonder whether Harry and Meghan will appear in TV adverts now!

Sarah Ferguson and yet another new project
According to the DM, she has signed a deal to produce seven new children’s books with an independent publisher in Australia. Serenity Press also offer a self-publishing service. This seems a little strange to me - maybe no UK or US publishers are interested. From their Facebook: “We are delighted to see that the news of our seven book deal with Sarah,Duchess of York is being received so beautifully. It is our intention to bring beautiful books out into the world with the Duchess and all of our amazing Serenity Press authors. And it is so lovely to see that everyone is loving the front cover art by illustrators Veronica Rooke and Dave Press. With articles in most papers In the UK and Australia we would like to share on from hello magazine that we enjoyed reading and hope that you do too.” www.facebook.com/serenitypresspublishing/What kind of English is this? I think that Fergie and this company deserve each other. I wonder how much profit these book will make. Is this another new enterprise that will come to nothing?
