“I reckon he will step down in January, once Brexit is done.“ You could well be right. He is obviously struggling and the old Boris has not been seen for a while now. He probably is being torn apart by trying to appease various factions.

BoJo is back in isolation
He has chosen an interesting time to get away from the action. This week is crucial for Brexit talks, and the departure of Dominic Cummings and Lee Cain will have caused some problems. “Don't worry, I'm not going far. If anyone wants me, I will be on that island over there”:

Prophetic pictures from 2013?
These pictures were taken when BoJo was still Mayor of London, but they are very relevant today. Deal, No Deal; Stay at Home to Save Lives, Eat Out to Help Out; Health versus Wealth...

No end to BoJo's problems
He isn't having much fun these days. This cartoon from The Telegraph is a good one:

BoJo the Battler
I think that BoJo is going to have to fight for both personal and political survival. Is he preparing for war here? Is he going to lead us into battle?

How hot is BoJo?
This picture of someone using a temperature gun on Bojo is a return to the good old days when he often appeared in amusing pictures:

BoJo and the bananas
The bananas are back! BoJo visited a children's nursery this week and had some fun. The children sat around a table painting fruit and he joined in. His artwork is not impressive:

More Carrie-related problems for BoJo
There is indeed some fresh drama. It is not just the cost of the redecoration and the forcing out of people that is making Carrie Symonds unpopular in some circles. According to the DM, the animal conservation charity that Carrie Symonds works for is being investigated by the Charity Commission for financial mismanagement. It has 19 employees and spent £1.60 million, more than half its income, on 'fundraising activities' in 2019. This is yet another reason for BoJo to feel under pressure. He is looking very stressed these days:

Is BoJo getting worse?
This is BoJo at Monday's conference: Best DM comment: “Boris Johnson looks like an old drunk who's been dragged out of bed at gunpoint, told to get dressed then go and read a script in front of a camera and pretend that he means it.”

Bojo CANCELS plans for a Churchillian Freedom Day speech as furious health chiefs accuse him of 'letting virus rip' by unlocking as cases rise by 68% to 55,000 and 740 new hospital admissions PER DAY
By David Wilcock, Whitehall Correspondent For Mailonline and Glen Owen, Political Editor For The Mail On Suday 08:16 BST 18 Jul 2021 , updated 08:50 BST 18 Jul 2021"
"The Mail on Sunday today revealed that Mr Johnson cancelled plans for a Churchillian launch of Freedom Day after No 10 became alarmed by the surge in the number of infections.
Officials had discussed marking the lifting of Covid restrictions with a rousing speech by the Prime Minister at an historic venue associated with the wartime leader – until scientific advisers took fright at the recent climb in cases.
Mr Johnson has abandoned his previously bullish attitude to tomorrow's ditching of most restrictions – including social distancing and legal limits on gatherings – and is no longer referring to the moment as 'irreversible'.
Former Health Secretary Jeremy Hunt yesterday described the situation as 'very serious', and raised the prospect of another lockdown this autumn. "
Churchill Moment lost -------------- Everything was set up for the churchill moment. The cambridges were to be the face of the new era.
however now william is left shouting he sick because of racists and he is consoling the three boys who missed the penalities.
The football team refused to meet Bojo , he cancelled the meeting and public holiday for celebration and now the revolt of scientisits after lockdown has stolen his churchill moment.
The cambridges are hidden and threatening not to release a picture of george for his 8 birthday.
The question is ? is bojo jinxed or the cambridges jinxed him?

BoJo's string of disasters Lavendel June 21st was to have been Freedom Day in England, a key date when all legal restrictions would be removed. Then it was changed to July 19th, tomorrow. I can well imagine that BoJo was planning to make a victory speech and meet a lot of people. I expect that he was looking forward to gaining credit for the defeat of the virus. It has all back-fired. He is self-isolating, cases are rising and yes, there is talk of another lockdown in the autumn. It all seems out of control. His reign does indeed seem jinxed. Still, he has his family and his dog. I like this picture of mini BoJo:

BoJo on a bench
BoJo is not looking very well. What happened to the great Churchillian leader? He is criticised no matter what he does. Demonstrators in Parliament Square led by Piers Corbyn are calling for his resignation.

BoJo is a Catholic now? I didn't know that. Bojo had to convert back to his childhood religion of catholism to marry Carrie in the Westminster Catholic Cathedral. The church allowed them to marry as they didnt recognise his other none catholic marriages. So the pope through bojo will have a word to say as the wales vs york war break out!

Bojo is a man of the high moment but not good with the low depressiv. Talk about the bench... am taking the from row of whichever bench

So no King BoJo then?
“Bojo had to convert back to his childhood religion of catholism” Lavendel I now know that he was baptised into the Catholic Church but became Anglican as a schoolboy. So his conversion to Anglicanism is not recognised by the Catholic Church? This changes everything. The Royal Succession thread may have to do without BoJo now! The rules may have been changed so that a royal may marry a Catholic, but a Catholic still cannot become the monarch. He has been seen as the future king in other countries too – although only as a big joke:

Where's Wilfred?
BoJo wore an empty baby carrier when visiting a farmers' market yesterday. It looked very odd; perhaps it was meant for dog Dylan if he got tired:

BoJo loses the plot
Meghan Markle made a fool of herself in public recently; now Boris Johnson has done the same. He made a rambling and incoherent speech in which he came out with a weird word salad: “Boris Johnson today praised Peppa Pig World, compared himself to Moses and made engine noises in a bizarre speech to business chiefs... Mr Johnson at one point extolled the virtues of Tesla cars, saying they were faster at accelerating from traffic lights than Ferraris. But he also attempted an impression of a traditional petrol engine, issuing a series of guttural sounds to confused delegates in South Shields. .. And he invoked the Moses comparison by suggesting he had descended from 'Mount Sinai' to hand civil servants his 10-point plan for achieving Net Zero by 2050. At one point Mr Johnson was left floundering after losing his place in his rambling speech, leafing through pages while the audience sat in awkward silence... He said...'There are sound evolutionary reasons why mother nature does not like working from home.'” www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10229549/Boris-Johnson-praises-Pepper-Pig-World-bizarre-CBI-speech.htmlEngine noises! Perhaps he has been spending so much time with baby Wilfred that he has forgotten how to speak to adults. Perhaps he isn't well. Losing his place in his speech, and at Peppa Pig World with Wilfred:

A bad time for BoJo
Our leader is in big trouble. In addition to problems with public health and the economy, there is the result of Thursday's by-election, the illegal parties, the wallpaper scandal... Will he survive? Will he be forced out by his own side? He wanted to be King of the World; he is now becoming Public Enemy No 1!
